What can I expect to be different than before now that I've "leveled up"? Looking at the MLife website the only difference seems to be a 10% faster earning of points and a line pass at buffets. Will I get into a different corporate offer group?

you can look forward to a whole lot of nothing. well, except for the buffet pass. if you get into a new corporate offer group it will be based on your most recent play that got you to Pearl, not the status.

Level has nothing to do with offers. You will get the same as before based on your play.

I'm Platinum with over 333 000 points and my "Mlife Discount" on the web site for July is about $90 a night at Excalibur or $110 at Mirage/MGM etc! Plus resort fees. Best email offer I have is three nights NYNY or two nights MGM but those only come around once in awhile. So....comped at Ceasers it is for the next two trips......

    Eff U Mlife!

I made it mainly by a $650 spend on hotel, food, and show tickets this week. I'm at 39k points with 36 to gold. Is it worth putting that amount into the stay rather than play on my next trip to get to gold? And how does the money spent vs money wagered point system break down? (points per dollar spent vs ppd on your theo).

I made it more than halfway to gold just by charging things to my room one trip. Until a couple weeks ago, my mom and I had roughly the same amount of tier credits, however she had nearly no tier credits from resort spending, just pure gaming. I rarely get comp offers while she gets tons and her offers are much better than mine (more nights, more freeplay, and some F&B credit for her vs. my couple of nights in the lower properties and small amount of freeplay). Case in point, as everyone said before, upping your tier credits by resort spending wont get you much other than the tier benefits.

25 TCs for each dollar spent on resort stuff (hotel, food, tickets, etc.) NOT retail though.

10 TCs for each point when it comes to slots and VP. 1 point is $3 coin-in on slots and $10 coin-in on VP and specialty games.

TCs from table games is not publically known...rule of thumb for blackjack is 550 TCs for 1 hour at $25 per hand average bet.

Gold gets you the "complimentary upgrade" which is usually just a higher room or one with a view.

As has been said, offers are based on your theo...not your tier level...

Short of a huge win and maybe one of Beejay's hookers and blow sessions, there is nothing more satisfying than walking past the 100 people in the Bellagio line and being let in right away. Yeah you might not get more comps for just being pearl, but the line pass is a phenominal perk.

Sadly, this would be a nice perk for me. Don't like the hour wait times therefore I haven't been to a buffet in along time...

Don't be too excited to cut in line and still pay $60 or so on 2 buffets at Mirage...it sucks!

Unless I'm figuring wrong (which I could be) I can't account for about half of my tier credits. It had been Feb '12 since I played at an MLife property before my trip 2 weeks ago.

I have 39k TC's and have $5.52 in point play (which means I earned 552 base slot points? x10 =5520 TC's). That leaves me with 34k TC's to account for. A final hotel/food/show bill of $592 (I had $100 in resort credit from my offer taken off of $692).

This gives me a total of 20K TC's that I can account for. Roughly 19K I cannot. Unless <15 spins of $25 outside roulette got me 19k TC's I'm baffled. I only earned $1.98 in EC's per the site.

It is possible that point play might not be related to TC. You could have redeemed some point play at the machine. I usually try to burn through most of mine before leaving.
