I thought I read somewhere that I can redeem points for a rewards from Wolfgang Puck and this will not count towards my maximum 3 redemptions - is this correct?

When I looked at redeeming either the Wolfgang Puck rewards or the Monorail tickets it doesn't say anything about the maximum 3 rewards limit - so do neither of these count towards the 3 rewards limit?

I would love to be able to get a few more rewards as we are visiting Vegas from the UK and it will probably be our one and only visit! :)

Both of those do not count toward your limit of three. Enjoy while you can!

I would check with myVegas via email and get it in print before you waste a reward on this (over bigger rewards). I emailed them last week, and I was told the monorail DOES count against the total number of rewards.

Go to the reward, click next and read and it tells you. Wolfgang doesn't count and you can get 1 of each. Monorail doesn't either and has the same.

You are right, when I click on these rewards it doesn't say anything about the maximum of 3, so I am assuming that as they are not MGM resort rewards, they do not count towards my maximum 3 redemptions.

But I think I will email MyVegas support just incase as it would be good to get it in writing!

I am looking at buying the Wolfgang Puck reward as well.
For the benefit of everyone maybe we can post the feedback we get from Myvegas on this?

Ill reply when I hear back

Just emailed Myvegas support and got an instant reply saying that the 3 rewards limit is only for MGM properties so Monorail passes and Wolfgang Puck rewards do not count towards the maximum of 3 rewards in a 30 day period - which is good news for me!

Thanks for the advice on here.

So I guess I would need to get the right person to email me back. This is what I asked:

Does the monorail reward count against the total number of rewards I can redeem?

    This was the response:

Shizue from myVEGAS, Jun 08 13:25 (PDT):
    Hey Tammi,

    It sure does!

    Thanks!

I got a reply from the same person who said about the monorail reward:

The new monorail passes do not count towards your redemption limit since that limit was set in place by MGM and is only for MGM properties. Buy away!

Thanks for reaching out to us!

    Shizue from myVEGAS

So it is very confusing, but I am hoping it is OK!

Well, talk about being confusing. Which is it, does it count or doesn't it? It'd make more sense that it doesn't count because it doesn't say it.:confused2:

I am thinking it wouldn't count, since there wouldn't be a way for the monorail to see how many rewards you have redeemed. What I would be concerned about, though, is if I redeemed it on the first day of my trip, then MLife would be able to tell how many you have redeemed, then I would lose out on something big, like a steakhouse dinner. But, yes, it is very confusing!

The people at Mlife can tell how many rewards you have redeemed up to any point along with your maximum.

It has been stated in Facebook replies by reps of MyVegas that:

Each vendor (Currently only 3, WP, MGM, Monorail) determines its own reward limits,
MGM imposes a 3 reward limit.
The reward for each vendor CURRENTLY (emphasis added by me) do not count toward the limits of other vendors.
