I am going to be in Vegas this coming Sunday and we were wanting to watch the NBA finals game and play video poker at the same time. Where can we do that in the Aria/ Cosmo area? We don't mind walking to Caesars or somewhere close but just want to be able to hear and see the tv and also play video poker at the same time. Thanks in advance!

I think the bar nestled between the sportsbook and the poker room is still open. That's probably your best bet

If you want to make a trek, the LVH has many VP machines right by the sports book.

Venetian's sports book has VP there with game audio on. But iirc, the machines are either triple-play quarters or single-play dollars.

oh yeah, 25 cent is fine with me. Just something to pass the time on because I am not a huge basketball fan, but my friend loves it. I could not remember if you could see the tv's in the bar by the sports book at Aria. I was thinking maybe Book & Stage at Cosmo, would they be showing the game there?

I wrote that though because their triple-plays require you to wager 15 quarters to get a 800 for 1 (4000 for 5) Royal payout. Basically I would recommend either just playing one single quarter (to minimize total loss), or all 15 (have a chance at $1000 Royals).

Unfortunately, I didn't check out any of Cosmo's bars this last trip.

From Aria, you can go to the bar right outside the sportsbook at the MGM. They only comp beer and basic liquor, but there's a TV right behind the bar that will certainly have the finals on.

I was just at Cosmo last week and spent some time at the Book & Stage. Solid place with good TV's and multi-denomination bar top VP, including progressives at the .25, .50, and 1.00 levels. Bartenders are decent and the talent around there is unbeatable. I'd go with it...
