    The Freemont street concert series will be having Puddle of Mudd that weekend. Lots going on Labor Day weekend all over town, my favorite weekend of the year.

    September is when the temperature in Vegas finally starts to drop. Should be no warmer than 115 degrees that weekend....

    Usually, there are lots of casino & dining promotions during Labor Day weekend ... and large crowds. We now avoid all that ... and the HEAT ... and go out around the 3rd week of September. :thumbsup:

    Liteman arrives Sept 2 and Puddle of Mudd plays Aug. 31. 2 days late and 2 dollar short.

    I am pulling in on Sept 1. Did the same trip last year. Most things were winding up and folks were pulling out on Labor Day. After that it seemed like typical downtown weekday action.

    Its usually stiil 100+ as far as temps during the day. However, under the canopy it was very comfortable.

    Same here. Arriving DT 9/1 and first time here Labor Day weekend. So glad I have the opportunity to come back this year!
