Glad to hear that you had a positive exerience. We just got back from four days down there. Two nights at the Beau Rivage followed by two nights at Hard Rock.

was the hard rock a good place to stay ?
I hear the I.P. is the largest for gaming , will have to fight the parking and visit this time
did you visit the beach while there ?
is there an area of the beach you would recommend ?
wife likes the beach, I like the A.C. and gambling

They have free valet at IP. Just tip $2 to 3 on pickup. I like the IP a lot.
We usually stay at the Beau because we get free flights and rooms.

Beach is OK. Certainly good enough for our mostly gambling selves. It's normally pretty clean and never crowded. Water isn't blue, but "amber" from Mississippi River.

Hard Rock is by far our favorite hotel. Most high end Vegas feel we've found down there. Beau is showing it's age and service has slipped recently IMHO. More of a Mirage circa 2003 vibe to me.
