Just looked at forecast for next week and it says 100 dgs , will it actually be that hot , has anybody just come back who can confirm this, cant be right for june surely not.
Vegas is having a very warm start. It hit 100s for a couple of days weeks ago. The locals are whining.
hope it stays like that next week when I come over for ten days the weather in the uk is a joke at the moment 9gs its british summer time..... not
It can get hot...100 is hot but when ya have plenty of cold beer close by I have always survived ...Have fun and keep cool
Honestly, they can't predict accurately for more than 24 hrs out, but this is the 10 day forecast: http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/89101
Our weather predicting is a joke. You would think with all the technology, they could actually get it right some of the time. The local newscasts are routinely 5-10 degrees off (it is warmer than they predict), and it cracks me up when they predict morning drizzle and there is not a cloud in the sky. I always say, if you want to know what the weather is going to be like, go outside in the morning and find out, because listening to the forecasts is hardly an indicator of what the day will be like.
The average for next week in vegas is 95 deg, so 100+ is not at all uncommon, and should be expected.
I could be a forecaster in the islands: High, 83. Low, 80. Rain. Sun. Breeze. Water temp 79. Repeat for next 364 days. Or around here: High, 65. Low, 54. Wind. Sun. Evening fog. Repeat for next 364 days (save the five in October when it actually pushes 90.)
I tend to think differently. With all the variables to consider, weather forecasting is extremely accurate, epecially more so now than even 5-10 years ago.
