Question about CET comps

Hi all I am new to this board (and the casino scene in general) but I have a question. Lately I have been playing some blackjack at my local Harrahs and as a result I have been receiving offers to stay at comped rooms in places like Caeser's, Paris, etc...

My question is, if I book a room using one of these offers and do not gamble as much as they expect, do I risk losing these offers in the future? Also, is CET generally more liberal in giving out these comped rooms? I am not even a Platinum member and have played similarly in MGM properties but have not received any comps there.

Also of note is that Caesars table game comp offers in Vegas are reported to be weaker than slot player comps at a similar level.

 

True, but my experience is they are very liberal with upgrades.(I play almost all craps, but almost always get bumped to a suite at check-in)

 

You get upgraded from a room that was comped in the first place or from a rack or casino rate room? That would be good info.

By way of comparison I have all but never played anything but slots at CET and usually only budget in the $200/day neighborhood +/- $100 between the wife and I and I usually have base room comps at most mid tier CET props and sometimes have them at Caesars to. Weekends are sometimes hard to come by.

 

If you keep playing the same at your home, the consistent average should at least still keep you getting room offers. If your average drops some, you may be more limited in properties such as Harrahs, Ballys or Flamingo vs. Paris & Caesars.

My thinking would be if you are getting Caesar's Palace comp offers right now, it will take at least a few low-playing comped stays before you are anything more than relegated to Harrah's and Bally's.

CET is more than happy to give you a room and nothing else especially if you have any history of a decent level of play.

I got in the same boat such that I was getting offers at all the hotels. I stayed a couple of times and barely played at all (prefer the rules elsewhere). Now I don't see CP and Paris/PH can be tough to find but if I ever want to stay at Harrah's, it's no problem.

 

Book sooner than later. The offers you have today could be gone tomorrow.
