    Laundry

Apparently Main Street Station has guest laundry facilities at their RV lot. We haven't used them, but have some friends who have, and they weren't staying there. I don't know if they are inside the building or elsewhere. You could probably call and ask.

Although I have been to the MSS many times, I never knew they had a RV park, duh! Where is it, behind the casino?

The RV park is NE of the casino.

There is a keypad on the door on the laundry room. Not sure who you have to talk to for the code.

I found the Busy Bee Laundromat on 1201 Stewart Ave. It is 2 bus stop and a short walk. I am staying 9 days so I need one and it provides a break from the vegas vibe.

I also used the busy bee during one of my trips. Fine during the daytime but I wouldn't want to be in this area at night!

You can take the Duece or the BHX. Google the address to see the walking distance. I think it says 2 minutes.

If you have a smartphone, download the MyCityWay, Las Vegas app. It is free and it actually has a Laundromat button on it that will pinpoint the closest one to you while you are there. A lot of very useful stuff on that app. I have a droid btw, not sure about iPhone.

BTW, according to my phone, the closest one to me here in MN is Thunder Suds, 1193.93 miles away.

Busy Bee is the closest laundromat to downtown. It is listed as a ten minutes walk from the Cabana Suites. It is one block north of Ogden to Stewart Ave. and East for about 5.5 blocks. It is between Maryland parkway north and south next to LV city hall. Sun-Sat 7am-8pm. they provide wash and fluff fold deliveries to downtown hotels:
Busy Bee Laundromat opened its doors for business November 26, 2005. Busy Bee has been at the same location for over 22 years, briefly closing for a complete renovation in 2004.

Busy Bee is located just East of Las Vegas City Hall, which is also located on Stewart St. downtown Las Vegas.

Laundromat has 43 washers sizes ranging from 18 lb. machines, 30 lb. machines, and 40 lb. machines.
    Dryers are 30 lb. machines

We are the closest to downtown.

The laundromat has a customer restroom, soda machine, candy/snack machine, bag machine, and soap machine.

Walking distance to hotel/casinos in area:

    El Cortez
    Plaza
    California Hotel
    Gold Nugget
    Main Street Station

    Laundry facilities downtown.

    Hey folks.

We were wondering if there are washer and dryers anywhere DT . We are staying at the GN and are not renting a car. We are packing very light and would like to do some wash mid trip.

I read somewhere that there are machines at the MSS RV park. Can anyone confirm this?

    Are there machines anywhere else?

    Thanks !!!

I have used Busy Bee a few times before. Be aware, while it is walking distance it is quite a walk from many areas (el co is the closest) so make sure you have your walking shoes on before going to the place. I usually have a car so just drive to the place, not sure if I would want to walk to the place, not much going on in the area.

While they have a restroom, the door is locked, you need to ask the guy to open the door for you. He has an office inside the laundramat in the back area. there are cameras everywhere so he is usually on top if you need to use the restroom.

I like the place because they have different sized washers so I can use whatever sized washer I need. Price ranges for the different sizes also. The times I visited the place was never busy, only 3 or 4 people using the machines when I visited.

As for use of the MSS RV washers and dryers, since the door is closed and there is a keypad I was under the assumption that it was only for MSS and Cal patrons only but I could be mistaken.

If you have a car there are a number of laundramats close to downtown. If you have to walk then busy bee might be the closest to most of the downtown hotels IMHO.

I don't think I'd mind the walk when I'm in town in February. I might think twice about walking it this week with temps at 117! Thanks for some insight into the walk and choices at the laundraumat!

Hey guys, I went to the busy bee last week from the 4 Queens. I took the HXD 2 stops and walked 2 and half blocks to the BB. On the way back my son and I ended up walking the whole way as the bus wait was going to be 20 minutes.

Yes, it was hot. But it was about 11 am so it was probably 110 or so. We had water and had to drink it. The place has the essentials, but it is spartan.
The 2 blocks to Stewart from Freemont were short but lacked sidewalks in places. Good luck.

I am looking to do laundry on my next nine night trip also. It looks like the 207 and 208 drop off within one block of Busy Bee downtown.
