I should say horse racing more specifically. Over the weekend I earned 400 tier ($2000 coin in) (my local casino does 1 Tier for every $5 for horses and slots) in about 2 hours of betting..

All my rates went up significantly for most hotels, Vegas, local, ac. I am just trying to figure out if this is why? First time I ever bet horses with CET.

Did you use to play something different and recently switched to horse racing? if so did you play bigger? did you still play these games just smaller?

Only thing I can think of is they saw a reduction in your play (if you switched games)...otherwise it wouldnt make sense to raise the rates for you making additional bets...

Rates dont go up because you earned teir credits...they go up if your play reduces...

Some places have horse racing bets points separate from regular points. I noticed that about a month ago at one of the Station properties.

I usually always bet horses when I gamble, but this was the first time I have bet any at a CET property. I am a few K tier shy of being diamond (never had a TR card until this year).

FWIW this was not a Vegas Property, it was Thistledown Racino. The rates are the same as slots for tier and RC's. Normally when I go gamble at a CET property I usually get 400-800 Tier a day. Only gotten over 1k once.

I noticed CET updated their website. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I am planning a trip to Vegas and was going to stay at the Flamingo in Go room (was free via reservations planner) and now its like $40 a day.

I was just curious if horse betting has any theo once so ever? That would give me a 0 for that day and would explain why everything went way up.

I have never used my card when sports betting. Do you get Tier Credits when you bet sports at MGM?

During football Sundays I'll easily be betting between $2-3k but I've always heard that you can't earn TC for betting sports, so I've never bothered.

I also play the ponies for recreation during the afternoon.

no, you get nothing unless you're making very, very large wagers and even then you'll hardly get anything.

And even then you wouldn't get any TCs...you would just get noticed and get free shit

Actually, MGM will give you TC for horse betting, but only tiny amounts (at least that's what the book manager at Aria told me about a year and a half ago). To my knowledge, MGM will not give you any TC for sports betting. I've placed numerous bets ranging between $6k and $10k per game over the past few years and never received a single TC for it

It's possible it is currently set up that way since this is only the 2nd CET property outside of Nevada that takes horse racing bets to my knowledge, and CET could foul up something like that since the place is "new". Theoretically, your theo should be at a similar level because the house edge in horse racing is even bigger than slots, or at the very least not have a "zero" for the day.

But it's also possible those rates offered to you were for a limited time and expired. Or it's also possible that hotel demand has moved up to the point where they can no longer offer it free to you (doubtful unless its very soon though). I would be tempted to contact someone at Thistledown to ask their policy on horse racing and theoretical loss, or someone at Flamingo to see if they can give you the offer you were eyeing up. The fact your rates went up in a lot of places probably means you got boned with theo though, even though I personally don't think you should have. :(

One other possible explanation. Was the 1k+ Tier trip your very first trip to Horseshoe Cleveland? Most recent gambling is weighted the most with regard to ADT, maybe your trip to the track devalued an older, heavier gaming session too much. :(
