Monte Carlo w/ $50 resort credit or Planet Hollywood? Also a Pai Gow limit question.

I have both booked and I am having a tough time deciding which one to cancel. What are the pros and cons for each? What would your choice be? They are essentially the exact same price. MC has $50 resort credit and PH doesn't. I have stayed at PH and enjoyed it but never stayed at MC.

Also, do all strip resorts have $25 Pai Gow 24/7? Will the higher end places be over $25, especially on nights and weekends? I am planning to play mostly Pai Gow and will probably stick with green chip action.

My good friend said Planet Hollywood is his favorite hotel/casino but has never stayed at Monte Carlo. He actually suggested me posting here.

Most everywhere will be at least $10-15 a hand for Pai Gow on the strip. You shouldn't have any problem finding and playing $25/hand anywhere.

I would stay at Planet Hollywood. I have stayed at both in previous years, however, Planet Hollywood has much more action. Monte Carlo is kind of dull. Also, dining at Planet Hollywood and Paris (next door) is IMO much better.
If you book PH use your TR card, if not, be sure to get one. I just came back 2 days ago and spent most of my time at Planet Hollywood, Paris, and Caesars.
The Mall at PH is great for shopping, dining, and seeing some shows. I was at Monte Carlo last week to get a bite to eat and couldn't wait to get out of there.

Thanks for the info. Do any high limit rooms deal Pai Gow? Poker, not tiles. What can be expected as the minimum if so? $100, $500?

First, between PH and MC, I definitely would go for PH.

As for Pai Gow, I have not seen this game in any of the high limit room that I have been to, but Caesars Palace has many tables, with $25 being the minimum and they also have tables with $50 and $100 minimun. All the tables at Caesars have a maximum bet of $20,000, which is the highest I have seen anywhere.

Most Caesars properties (Ballys, Paris, PH, Harrahs) have the minumum at 25 with a few $15 tables sprinkled in there. Some MGM props have it at $10 minimum most, if not all, of the time, i.e., NYNY, MC.
