Vic Vegas was a finalist on Food Network Star a few years ago, and now has a restaurant out at Anthem that looks really good. Anybody been there and can give a revierw?

    I was wondering the same.
I planned to go last week but decided not to rent a car at the last minute.
Taking a cab from Aria was out of the question.
    Maybe next trip.

Never been there, but I am always so skeptical of positive reviews on any TV food show.

I don't think it's been reviewed on a TV show. I found it via VegasChatter. It's the second-highest restaurant in the valley, and they listed the time of sunset on the webpage, so at least the view is good. The menu looks killer. I was just hoping somebody had some actual, you know, direct knowledge of the place. :D

Vic's and Angelo Sosa (from Top Chef) are the 2 off strip restaurants I want to try, simpy because of their time on those shows. I was fans of both of them and want to eat at their places but the off strip thing is the biggest obstacle. Angelo's Poppy Den is getting good reviews out near Red Rock.
