I have cards for both places.
Are the points combined when looking for possible comps at 4 Queens?

    Thanks.

I've never asked about this. I am guessing not, since Binions allows comps directly from your card points i.e. it shows a dollar amount that you have available for restaurants.

But if you played a lot at Binions, I wonder if it would trigger FQ room offers...

    Good question!

Dewey was able to earn 4 Queens room comps for his VP play at 4 Queens and casino rate for poker play at Binion's. He split his play where he only gambled at one or the other, depending on what portion of the comp he was using.

Dewey's correct about poor paytables at Binion's. They killed BJ (now 6/5) at many tables as well.

I just got my first Binions card last month. Today I got a card in the mail for a room deal at the 4Q.

First night Sunday-Thursday$25, second night free.
First night Friday-Saturday $54, second night free.
Valid July 01 thru Aug 31.

It's an OK deal, but barely, midweek they're about $30, so you're getting half off, with the same play you can get it free at the boyd places or el-cortez.

You most probably got the 4Q room offer since Binion's hotel rooms are presently closed.

According to the mail, the 4Q is the sister property of Binions.

Yes, since Binions closed their hotel, they offer free and discounted rooms at Four Queens. I get a seperate mailer each month for each property with room offers at 4Q. VP is not as good as other props downtown, but there is some 9/5 Jacks at the quarter level. I generally play enough of that to earn a couple of swipes in their Mother Lode promo. Those swipes often turn into small food comps or free play, so I figure that evens out what I give up getting 5 instead of 6 coin for flushes.

Unless it has been removed recently, they have had a bank of four 9/6 DDBP quarter machines near the northeast corner ( close to a craps table ).

For some odd reason, I really like to play there in the mornings. After two or three mornings of play, I have enough comp credit to eat at The Ranch Steakhouse.

I do not think that it adds anything to my Four Queens points, where I stay.

Four Queens has the really superlative VP -- arguably the best in Las Vegas.

Well, Robert ... I will say that the 4Q has the best VP cash-back in town, rated at .3125 % ... and it has several full-pay VP machines. But, it doesn't necessarily have the "best" VP in all of Vegas. You might want to read through the VPfree.com listings.
