Our first time at Caesars and we are booked in a Palace Deluxe King Room. Any recent experience with one of these?

No, but i'll be staying in a Forum Tower room in August but might upgrade to the Palace Tower because it's near the pool. The Forum rooms are closer to the Casino and the Palace rooms are near the pool. I believe the Palace rooms are a little bigger sq ft wise and have better bathrooms, but my interest is to be near the pool which is why i may upgrade. I'm a first timer at Caesars as well.
    Have fun and god luck.

Very nice rooms. Try and ask nicely for the palace deluxe room (jr. suite) if you want a little more space, as some of the King rooms are a little smaller than I expected.

Thanks for the info. We planned to be at PH but got an offer a couple days ago and rooms were available. Actually we arrive tonight for three days downtown and then Caesars.

    Ceasars first time too

Hey guys it will be the first time for me in ceasars too
In general i heard good things about it
My host couldnt arrange a suite for me so i have a deluxe room but i also have to pay for it( i get 5 days comped than 2 days i have to pay than 5 days comped again and than 2 days and last 4 days comped again, yeah the 4 days i have to pay are a bit expensive but as i played stupid slots last time its not that bad anymore now,i know i can stay for free at cet but than i have to swap hotel evry 5 days and i dont wanna do that)

I visited the spa once at ceasars and loved that a bit strange that i had to pay 10 $ for it as spa is normally at all other ceasar properties for me free but hey it was worth it and i assume i can charge it to my room

    Same here, getting anxious.

On a side note - I stayed in the Deluxe room at Augustus tower and they are supposed to be very similar to palace tower. Very nice rooms, pretty big and has a really nice bathroom. You'll enjoy your stay.

August tower deluxe rooms are very nice, I stayed in a king room and loved it. Very spacious, bathroom has separate shower and real jacuzzi tub with a TV.

Augustus Tower is nice! Ended up there twice booking a plain old ROTH and getting it assigned at the desk.

Hint: Use the "secret" valet parking on the south side off of Flamingo.

Yes it is, and it's also very close to the RTC bus stop when returning to Rio from the Strip in case i don't use the Rio shuttle.

Augustus is the favorite for many but I actually prefer Palace if you can get a view of the pool. I guess Augustus is a little larger but Palace has a bigger bathroom. The Petite suite is really fun if you can get it.

In regards to me, the Augustus and palace towers are the exact same room (palace being older rooms). Palace is closer to pools, casino, forum shops, restaurants (raos). Augustus is newer, closer to lobby, and entrance/exit.

I still prefer these towers over Octavious, etc.

Btw, if its a comped room you booked on Chet's website, they don't guarantee the room type you booked at check-in.
