I can get MGM Grand King for $39/night +RF and taxes or Aria for $79/night +RF&T. Which would you choose with the price options? I took Aria and in included $50 FB credit.

Aria eight days a week, and that's putting aside the fact that I'm really just not a fan of MGM Grand.

Aria is nicer, but MGM that's a great deal, and it was all renovated, it's a nice place. I guess it would just be a matter of preference. MGM can be kind of a pain in the ass because it's so big, but there are a lot of options of things to do there... Aria is a much better location.. but all the restaurants are very very expensive... whatever works best for your trip.

Personally I'd probably pick MGM so I could spend the extra cash. $90, $120 (depending on the number of days you are there) is the price of a nice dinner..

I'm kinda having a similar dilemma right now, but MGM just keeps winning because it's so darn cheap.

If you take Aria, make sure you know exactly what the timeframe is for the credit. I lost a bunch on my last trip because it wasn't the same as the check-in check-out time. I assumed (yes, I know) and found out breakfast counted against the next day, so I lost all but one minibar drink from the first day.

Aria, 100%. Hard to understand why you even have to think about this.

Heather has a good point about the restaurants but I found the walk to the food court at Monte Carlo form Aria is the same distance as the walk to the food court at MGM from most of the hotel rooms there.
Outside of that,Aria is just a nicer property overall and I like the MGM.

I am debating the same 2 properties for my stay. MGM is fine, Aria is a much nicer property. Never stayed at Aria and its been 3 years since MGM. The pools at MGM are nice, but can be crowded. Although, the Lazy River there is nice.Just make sure that your MGM room is not in the West Tower(The old West Wing Rooms). Apparently they are very small and the bathroom REAL small. If I could get the $79 deal, I would probably go Aria

Aria no doubt. Although I do really like MGM Grand as well (my first hotel to ever go to in Vegas so I've got a soft spot lol).
