We just love this show, and can't get enough of it. I really enjoy the fact that its current and plays out right on the strip where we hang out. I have to say though, I was telling hubbie, we have to get our butts out of the casino at night and be outside. There is so much that happens that we miss, while we are inside gambling, lol. Totally free entertainment.

I would love to know if the cops act like they do all the time, or just when the cameras are on them. :rolleyes2:

There was one clip last night where a girl does a complete faceplant off of a sidewalk. My daughter and I must have rewound it ten times as we peed in our pants laughing. Or when they catch two complete strangers hooking up in Ballys garden, "are you a hooker?" "No, I am biophysicist". And she IS! Rofl.

It's cool to watch, but seems the number of episodes is very limited. Think I have seen them all twice, easily

I've caught a few episodes. It's fun to watch. I have to say though, that it's like I'm traveling to a different Vegas. I guess I'm never out on the strip at that time to see that kind of stuff :)

I love that show! They must videotape during the summer but I could be wrong. I'll be on the lookout for them on my next trip.
I can't believe people have the balls to swim in the Bellagio Fountains! The water jet blast could do some serious damage!

They've only made 2 seasons so far. No one is sure if a 3rd one is going to happen or not.
LOVE this show, I've seen every episode at least a couple times. We saw them the main guy with a couple of camera guys last July on the bridge between NYNY and Excalibur.

Yep, I like to catch the show myself even though just reruns now. Lately, they seem to be showing on my lunch hour on Tuesdays. Last September I caught Officer Jenkins in front of Planet Hollywood, sure wished I had stopped and had a picture taken with him as others were doing. Don't forget you can go online for clips and interviews, http://www.trutv.com/shows/vegas-strip/index.html#hpt=nav_shows2

On a side note, woo hoo, look at that countdown timer! :D

When I was there 2 weeks ago, I saw Sgt. Jenkins and a couple other officers milling between Paris and Ballys. No film crew, but Jenkins did still seem to have his swagger turned on: leaning against the car, thumbs in his belt, smirking and chewing gun.

Twice last year I saw the police bringing the heat on some folks on the Strip, with lights and cameras rolling. I've only seen one episode of the show, so I don't know if what I saw ever made it on the air. They certainly draw a crowd. However, it appeared to be a bit "set up" in a way (as most "reality" TV might be?)

Last October saw Officer Jenkins and a couple of other officers rousting some suspects outside the Flamingo. My wife had the nerve to take a picture. Didn't see any cameras so they weren't filming that night I suppose.
    Great show.

I've seen them filming twice now, once they were walking along the street outside the new McDonald's/Walgreens by PH and the other time they were outside of Paris interviewing some random people but that footage never made it to a show.

My husband and I enjoy the show. My husband was raised in a cop family, his father was a cop and his younger brother became one. We're amazed at how easy going they are compared to the cops up here. The big blond cop stopped somebody and tells him "you know why I stopped you? cuz you're being silly" that's our favourite line from the show. My husband and I bet each other on what hotel the arrest-tee is staying at.

    "Where are you staying?"
    "Venice"
    "Venice, California?"
    "Yes"
"Do you know where you are?"
    "Venice beach"

    ROFL

But most of the time, the people have totally blank looks when asked where they are staying. I know sometimes I can't remember my room number but I have never forgotten which hotel. :drunk:

They need to partner up the stout white dude with the spikey hair and TJ the older black cop. That would be the true definition of good cop/bad cop. The spikey haired guy seems like he wants to bust everyones skull, and TJ seems like one of the nicest cops on the planet.
