This is just a joke. There is never anything available for food on My Vegas. They never add new ones and everything is saying sold out everyday. Unless you got in on this stuff early there is no point to it. Same with the rooms. The other issue is you can get show tickets but no dates so after you accept them you find out that the show isn't even available when your there.

I find it truly to be a waste of my time if they aren't going to update their site and add more offers. Or they only had so many and once their done they will kill the program which at this point wouldn't hurt my feelings considering I can't benefit from it anyhow.

I am not going to run all over Vegas for one free drink. You got to be kidding. It will cost you more money in the long run.:grrr:

It can seem very maddening at times, but it has worked for many players. I have recently cashed in for 3 rewards that I am using in May.

Some rewards are really tough to get and require you to try for multiple days right when they reload the reward as there are only a few available per day.

I think you're a little crazy on this one Crazy. it's not a drink, we can get show tickets, restaurants, hotels, entertainment... for FREE. There's a bunch of us low rollers here and this is an awesome game. Even if we get one dinner out of it, it's worth it. Being able to redeem 3 rewards on a trip, that's awesome.

My Vegas - What a Joke!!!!!

If you're not happy with the game, don't play it. It's really simple as that.

I have read a couple of posts with references to MyVegas. I guess it slipped under the radar for me. I assume it is a game of some sort of win free stuff. Can anyone summarize it for me. Is it worth the time spent?

I realize that you can get other things but "GETTING THEM" is the issue. They are always sold out that is what annoys me. Low rolling has nothing to do with it.:nono:

I have never seen a free meal available on there they are always sold old and as for tickets they would be nice if the show was on when I was there or if I could get two tickets not just one.

It's nice to low roll but these rewards aren't all that available. Remember I am a canuck I just can't hope in the car drive a couple hours for a trip. It may be more beneficial for Americans.

Anyhow it is what it is. If you are benefiting from it great. I wish I could get the meals and freebies too.

BK you need to realize it is about availability and no I am not Crazy that really wasn't called for. Didn't know this board was about name calling. Not cool at all.

I am playing, but its unlikely that I will ever get enough to do anything with. First of all, I dont understand these slot machines at all...on the game or in the casinos....what ever happened to the 3 cherries and you win thing? Slot machines are not as fun as they were 30 years ago. I play the game and dont have a clue as to what I am doing....I cose out of the game when it tells me I dont have enough credits to play anymore and asks me to buy more. NOT GONNA HAPPEN....then I log back in the next day and I have more credits. I have just over 1000 loyalty points....and it costs 55,000 for a room, so I probably wont cash in on anything. Its a time killer I guess.

You definitely have to put some time into the game, but it worth it if you have access to a computer for your job.

I let the game (slots) run in the background betting the ideal amount as noted in other posts and just slowly get loyalty points. We are going in June and I already redeemed two tickets to Zarkana and the $150 credit at Tender Steakhouse. I was on the webpage exactly at 9am Central time and snagged them right away. They normally only put up about 5 of the steakhouses a day, so you have to stay on top of it.

For something that does not require a lot of my attention, the rewards are well worth it.

Thanks for the info. That was helpful. Sadly I can't monitor it from work or I would be fired. Nor would I be able to access facebook that is blocked. I will have to try it again on my days off that is my only hope by the looks of it.

The rewards, usually all of them, get refilled every day, seven days a week.
They refill them at 7:00 vegas time, check out what time that is where you live.
You will see them refilled usually not exactly at 7:00 but a few minutes later, most often between 7:06 and 7:12, but it could be anything from 7:00 to 7:20 as far as I have seen it.
They only refill a very limited number for the most wanted rewards, some times only 5 per day. These sell out within seconds (!) many days

To grab one, you have to do the following: Purchase one of the rewards with lower demand (not always soldout) as a first reward if possible. Why? Because for the first purchase you have to enter your full first and last name, which takes some time. For every reward you purchase later it is enough to enter just the first initial for first and last name, which saves time.

When you start your "hunt" for a high demanded rewarded, do this:
Starting 7:00 vegas time click on your reward and click on "back to browsing", repeat that until the "sold out" button in the bottom right changes to "next".
Enter your initials for first and last name and copy your mail adress, which you prepared before, into the mail field. Check the checkbox for terms and conditions and click Confirm. If you were quick enough, congratulations, if not, try again next day.

Sounds hard? Not so much. I always got every reward for me and wife latest the second day I tried, so dont give up!

The "problem" with claiming rewards is that there are almost a million people playing MyVegas regularly and more than that who play it occasionally.

Since the game has been available for a few months now people have had time to build up their LPs and now we are getting to the time of year when a lot of people go to Las Vegas.

What that means is: there are a lot of people out there who have been saving and building up points over the last 9-10 months, who can now afford to buy up the best rewards. Since it is now that time of year when people are planning their summer vacations you have to expect that a lot of those people are now going to be cashing in.

Pretty much over December to February it wasn't that hard to get the good rewards like the top end buffets or hotel rooms... but that's that time of year: not that many people are planning a big end of January or early February trip, so there was a lot less competition to get the best rewards.

For right now if you want to take advantage of the MyVegas offerings, especially one of the really good items, then you pretty much have to fight for it by getting up early, clicking refresh over and over again, being quick to punch in your info, etc.

this is what i put on the myvegas friends page yesterday

i got Tender today just like i got Mandalay Bay, 2 tix to KA, and 2 Bellagio Buffets. First i copy my email address so all i have to do is press "Control V" in the email portion because thats the longest to write out. next i start at 7am on the dot clicking on the reward, clicking in the space where the "NEXT" button would pop up and then i click "BACK TO BROWSING". i do that over and over and over. the reward went live at 715 so who knows how many times i hit that stupid series of clicks. once it goes live, i get my email in first, i only put my initials in the first in last name because i have bought a reward before, click the little box, and voila! it takes persistence but its possible!

eta: Mandalay Bay went live at 714am and KA at 711.

It's a free game, it isn't going to be perfect. Luckily, I redeemed two LOVE tickets on my next trip out.

The game is getting harder to redeem. How many lps you need to pay for each reward keeps increasing also. That being said, I have been playing since last fall...along with my husband and MIL. It is worth the time in the end or should I say it has been for us. Used my last reward this morning. 7:10 Vegas time they became available today. We have 4 nights in a Mirage Tower Suite, $150 CC Steakhouse Cert, 3 Bellagio Buffets and still have 1 reward left to use for our May trip. I agree those who got into the game early and went to Vegas early this year got a real bargain. Now everything costs more points and there are more people trying to redeem. That being said we made out like bandits IMO for time playing slots online (which we do anyway on other games). I don't really get the complaints...it is free. I don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

We go through this same discussion every time there's a rewards based Vegas thing. It sounds great at first, but as people begin to abuse the system they tighten up things and make it more difficult to earn/redeem rewards.

It's still something for nothing. I have 4 nights in Vegas for free and $75 in food to spend. I'm pretty happy. Wish I could get a Bellagio Buffet too, but my fingers have not been fast enough.

well I feel very fortunate, I got 2 hotel rewards grandfathered in, literally bought them 2 days before the changes back in January so for my upcoming trip in May, I have:
    2 nights MB
    2 nights Aria
2 tickets to Zumanity - front row center
    $100 at Nine Fine Irishmen
    $150 at Tender
    2 tickets Bellagio Buffet

Needless to say, I don't think it is a joke but as Sonya points out, they have tightened things up and I am sure there will be many more changes down the road.

It is just like everything else about Vegas. To each their own, you got to find out what works for you!

Thanks so much for the great info so that means I have to check at 5 am then. That would be why I never see them then. Guess I better get up earlier for work have a coffee and check.

    I will try this again.

    Thanks Everyone!

Hey crue, you also might want to check out the FB group that supports the MyVegas app, some fun people, with helpful documents and chip sharing threads, etc. etc. They have over 17,000 members.

Going in September and have purchased 2 tickets to Love (granted was when it was 79k for 2). But I am ESTATIC that I so far have been able to get almost $400 worth of show tickets for FREE! I put it on autospin after work and do other stuff and check it randomly. I have to say though, joining the myvegas friends page has probably doubled my points faster than if I hadn't joined. I have those friends in a separate restricted list so that my newsfeed doesn't get full of that stuff, and also so they can't see my page.

You did say you were in Canada right? 7 am in Vegas is never 5am anywhere in Canada.

    Rewards reload at around

    7am in BC
    8am in Alberta
    9am in Sask,Manitoba, NW ontario
    10am in Ontario

couldn't tell you if you are east of that. but you get the point.
