Where to spend my $100 Diamond Celebration Dinner?

Flying solo to vegas this next trip, looking for suggestions on where to spend my new $100 celebration dinner CET tier benefit. Selection is limited to hotel restos where they take TR credits.

No buffets, fastfood, or steakhouses. All other suggestions welcome.

If you like sushi, we really love Koi at PHo.

 

Wife and I did Koi. Would love to use it at NOBU, but I suspect CET does not allow that. Also wondering if you have to charge back to room for benefit. Anyone attempted to use this comp benefit yet?

 

How & when did they notifiy you that you had earned the $100 celebration dinner?

If all options are open, I'd try any of the new places. GR English Pub, Chris Ruth's, .....

I don't enjoy eating just for the sake of burning up those dollars, especially solo. A couple of fancy drinks can whittle away the bottom line very quickly.

 

Martorano's (Rio). Get the bucatini carbonara, with the meatball and salad to start.

 

Its listed on the new Tier benefit schedule at Total Rewards website. Actually I want to use because I am going solo. When wife and I dine in Vegas, we usually don't get out the door for less than $200 for dinner. She's a non gambler so the shopping, spa, and fine dinning is what she enjoys, so thats the trade off if I deceide to go on a 6 hr straight BJ or VP session.

I just achieved Diamond again for next year and wrote Caesars about the dinner. I got my reply from Hammond since that is my home casino. They just said to come in and they will print out the voucher for $100 and it can be used for any of their restaurants on the property. They only have Caesars restaurants so I would be careful and check if using it in Las Vegas.

 

Nobu does not show up as accepting quick rewards, but I think the list hasn't been updated yet. Why don't you put in a question in the Q & A Section of the TR site. If you're staying at a CET Hotel you could charge to your room and ask them to take it of your points.

I just called Paris to check on this and the nice woman I spoke with said that you can go to TR and they will print out a voucher-one time use and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. They do not load it onto your card so I'm pretty sure you can't charge your meal to your room using the certificate. I didn't ask but I'm curious to know if it can be used at all CET owned restaurants or just select ones. We got a $100 dining credit last year on a promo and were only able to use it at the steakhouses (I don't eat steak).

 

I printed my $100 dinner voucher at a kiosk in Showboat AC. It states it is good thru March 2014, so I am in no rush to use it.

 

Rao's would be my choice. Their ravioli's are to die for!
