Increased points per ticket and only one ticket per redemption. Starting to see a trend here......

At least ka still has the two ticket option. I'm 7K LP's away from enough points. Hopefully they are still available by the time I get there.

Wow what perfect timing. I just redeemed my points for 2 Zarkana tickets a couple of days ago.

The other day they had 2 love tix for 72500 or something close to that. now its 1 ticket for 52k.

Guess we should get them while we are thinking about them.

Still a pretty good deal considering I have not invested anything other then few hours into it.

I only see one ticket on offer. Where are you seeing 2?

Wow this really blows - I leave for Vegas in less than 2 weeks and I have 67k loyalty points, was saving up for Love tickets. Awesome. I can't buy any of the other good things since I'm only on level 70, no way to advance 10 levels before I go with my bankroll. Sorry to vent, but I'm super disappointed.

There was an option for two tickets this morning. It was two "premium" tickets. I see that it is gone now as well. Its taken me a good month of playing every day to get up to 78k. Sure it's "free" but i certainly feel a little ripped off.

Hopefully they come back. 1 free ticket is basically just 50% off for me as I'm not going to a show by myself. We can already get 50% off through other offers. It's like the useless 25% off room rates reward, when their regular sales are 30% off. Starting to seem like a bait and switch strategy. Offer us amazing awards at first, and tighten them up as much as possible until nobody plays anymore.

Sad part is, people will still think they are getting some great deal, when in actuality it is no different then buying through discount re-sellers that have always been available.

I tend to go to Vegas alone, so the value for the show ticket rewards has greatly increased for me. Now I get to spend less LPs and don't have to throw away a ticket I couldn't use.

this sort of thing has been happening for a while now, to be honest.
rewards come up, then they disappear for a while, then they come back, sometimes altered a bit, sometimes not.

it certainly does suck for those who are so close to a reward, then all of the sudden its gone, but this is nothing new.
I wonder if maybe its done to encourage people to buy chips and such- you're so close to something, maybe only a few thousand lp's away, but you want to get it before its gone, so you buy some chips/lps.

It's pretty clear that the developer didn't see the natural results of how they structured the game. The best way to earn chips is by have a lot of friends, and I mean a lot. (I think have somewhere north of 500 MyVegas friends)

As MV issues chips by the dumptruck load and with the amount of people playing it was only natural that the price of rewards would skyrocket. The Cirque tickets at their previous prices were incredibly under-valued on a LP/$ ratio compared to other awards, so the increase was inevitable.

The main problem now is that people can only buy one of each award, so the cirque and buffet tickets are now essential BOGO.

(FTR I earn about 1100lp and 85,000 chips per day without actually spinning a slot)

Where does it say you can only buy one of each category? This really sucks now, I was 7,000 away from the Love tickets and now I need 32,000. If I can only buy 1 anyway, it is not worth it for me to play anymore.

No doubt that for those who travel solo, these changes are for the better. But I'm sure solo travellers are in the minority.

I have no problem with them raising the lp cost. The rewards are just becoming impractical.

I just checked - the LOVE tickets are not only for just one, but it says in the fine print that you must book a minimum of two weeks in advance. Since you are leaving in less than two weeks, you might want to grab the one ticket now (it is listed for 52,000 points, so you have enough) and just pay for the second ticket. At least it will be one free.

The Love tickets are listed for just one for 52,000. Are you saying they allow to cash in points for two?

Thanks jr. I think I'm going to skip it. This weekend is double experience points so hopefully I'll be able to get to level 80 before I leave. I was able to jump two levels just in an hour this morning. :)

No, unfortunately - you can only redeem one of each reward within a 30 day period. You would have to purchase the additional tickets if you are not going solo.

the two ticket option is back. A huge difference in price though. 150k now for two "premium" tickets. not sure what the "premium" difference is but its 50k more expensive to go the two premium route than having two separate tickets purchased under different accounts.

I was going to get the love tickets also. I'm done with this game. I know its "free" but my time is more valuable lol. I'll redeem my 60k for some random gift and move on. It was fun while it lasted.

I'm just going to venture a guess here, but it appears the 1 ticket option is no longer one of the coveted "good seats" as most people were getting with the former 2 ticket option.

I believe what they did was remove the old 2 ticket option and introduce a lower valued 1 ticket option in the "cheap seats." Then, brought back the 2 ticket option at a higher price point.

From what I can tell, the 1 ticket option for Love is in the purple areas (category D or 300 seats.) There is no category associated with the 2 ticket option, but I would speculate those are located in section 100.

I love how they made these changes right when I was able to book the trip and finally consider buying the rewards. I run good that way. Looking at the prices, I am really angry now. Things this week altogether probably dropped a few hundred bucks of value from my LPs.
