    Darn it! I like the older small hotels and casinos! They just seem so friendly and comfortable. Poor downtown, one step forward, two steps back.

    Well, if the Las Vegas Club is closing, you would not know it, as they are presently doing construction in the south side of the casino ... building a "gift shop". We were in there today doing our MatchPlays, and listening to the jack-hammer ... as the pit-boss was cringing.

    The LVC is doing a similar remodeling to what the Plaza did when they were shut down .....

    Only the LVC hotel is closing. The casino is staying open, and the gift shop is the first part of the renovation.
