Stayed there the past two years. Once in the Classic room and once booked Classic but the $20 trick got us a Premium room. Rooms have always been clean, no complaints. Love the easy access to/from the Strip and can't beat the location.

I've stayed in Classic rooms twice (and have one booked again in August.) Rooms have been clean and completely acceptable to me. You can walk out the casino door and be immediately on the Strip. Easy access to Mirage and the Forum Shops across the street. It has a Monorail station if you like to use the Monorail and it doesn't seem like the walk back to the monorail station is as long as at some of the other stations.

It's hard to beat Harrah's for the price in my opinion.

I'm not a fan of the rooms at Harrahs. While clean and centrally located, they're very dated and poorly maintained. Both my husband & I are diamond. One time we were given a room that had a wall outside the window (to block the view of the AC units) and a closet that was larger than the room. And I mean that literally - the closet was 12'x12. Horrible. The last trip our "mini-suite" had lock issues. Took multiple trips to have the problem solved. We've always had a better experience w/ Flamingo and Ballys.

I stayed there for the first time last year. Classic room was nice/clean and never had a issue while I was there. The location is nice and the employees all seem to have a good attitude.
One thing that is annoying with the rooms is that they have the thermostat sensor that turns off when you leave the room, so depending on the time of the year the room can me warmer when you get back to it.

Stayed at Harrah's several times over the years. Nothing special or memorable about the rooms in my opinion, but always clean, and the staff is good. Love the location, usually enjoy the smallish casino, even though it seems to be one of the smokiest. Almost always good cocktail service, and usually have luck on the slots.

I've only stayed there once. It was just as I expected. Probably the most downtown-like hotel on the Strip. (I chose it because my brother likes downtown, I like the Strip.) The room was kind of old school. The staff was fine. We enjoyed the Oyster Bar. The location is excellent. The price is a good value.

As i stated in my Trip Advisor review, so long as you don't expect the Bellagio, you should be happy at Harrah's. I stayed in what appeared to be a renovated room in the Carnival Tower back in 2010, and it was perfectly acceptable. The room was a little smaller, but in better shape than the Ballys North Tower room I just stayed in last month. One thing to keep in mind for Harrah's is that if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room away from Carnival Court or you will hear loud music well into the night.

I stayed at Harrah's last time and looked for an opportunity to do so again. My room was perfectly comfortable and clean. I had one minor issue with leaking toilet but it was repaired promptly. Location is ideal for me. I love doing laps in their pool in the morning, senior coffee at McD's right next door and easy access to strip resorts for all my shows. Looking forward to staying their again in July - and glad I reserved it before they added resort fees!

I stayed at Harrahs last year and won't be back. Room was okay, casino was 'eh, rest choices were bad if you just wants a quick cafe type meal, as their cafe turned into a pasta rest for dinner. I am much happier at Ballys if going with CET.

Have stayed there for several years and have another stay booked for May. As most have said the best thing is the location. I love that you can be out on the strip in a few minutes. We have been fortunate enough to always get the Mardi Gras tower rooms and always ask for the side away from Carnival Court so noise is not an issue. The only thing about the room although clean they are very small and not enough drawer space for clothes, we stay for 8 nights so that many clothes for 2 people tend to be too much for the 3 little drawers and closet space they give you.

But as I said before location and price can't be beat!

Thanks for the replies and reviews ...We also have stayed many times at Bally's and have always had great service there but unfortunately they did not have comp's there this time but in March we got all 6 nights comp;d free there.

I agree if you are in the the right frame of mind. Do not expect a five star...My parents have some mobility issues and Harrahs is their place. The long walk to the room from elevators at the big Casino's is difficult for them. For that reason Harrah's location and great comps works for them.

We have stayed at Harrah's probably 5 or 6 times. Prefer it over any other place for one reason is location! Plus we're comped for our entire stay. I'm a little peeved at the resort fees. But the service is excellent, rooms are decent and it's pretty much within walking distance of where ever we want to go. If not walking the monorail is right there. Love the pool area. Not a five star but never claimed to be.

Staying there for five comped days over the Memorial day weekend, stayed there many times before. I can't think of a single thing that has bothered me there. Just 44 days to go!

I stayed in a basic room at Harrah's a year or so ago. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was comfy and clean. Harrah's is centrally located and that is always a big plus in my book. There is lots of fun places to hang, Toby Keiths, the Piano bar, Carnival Court, etc.

My only dislikes, I dont like the Casino. It is always funky for me to navigate. I have also hardly won a dollar there.

Stayed there three times last year. No complaints at all. Small rooms but fine by me since I always head to Vegas alone. Funny that I prefer the rooms at Harrah's as opposed to the ones at the Wynn/Encore. Highly recommend that you stay at the Mardi Gras Tower if you want to be away from the noise. Another plus is that Executive Shuttle is located downstairs straight to the airport for $7.
