I tend to blow through 20,000 chips or more every couple hours playing an average of 150-300 per spin. Is this normal? I've played four days now and I've reached level 29 and racked up 12K loyalty points. Still, I feel like I suck at all the slots. I play mostly Excalibur with some Bet the Farm, Lucky Birds and Luxor. I guess my question is this: Is it normal to run out of chips every day and have to collect from all the hotels and use the daily spin chips, or are most people successful enough on the slots that you maintain a chip balance from one day to the next? BTW, I don't think I have any friends playing, so I'm not getting whatever kind of chip sharing happens along those lines. Thanks for any insights.
I think that is part of the game. But there are people that know the game better here, and even some that created it. So we will wait for their reply. I also tend to blow the chips away. But it's fun.
I play BJ whenever I start to get down in chips but the best slot to play is that time machine themed one.
Every time I play MyVegas I'm reminded why I NEVER play slots in Vegas. I hemorrhage chips on a daily basis and depend on the daily spin, strip and chip shares to stay alive. I mainly play Luck Birds and can play with 50k chips at 1000 per spin for a little while.
I have never found those games - Excalibur, Lucky Birds etc - to be all that great at racking up points. The games I have personally found to be the best for gaining more chips are the NYC themed one and the Studio City one. I was down to 20,000 chips last week and went from that amount to well over a million - of course as I increased the amount of chips I won, I would make a few larger bets and was lucky to hit a few large scores. I have played the NYC game at 300 a spin and won a few 40,000 plus hits (not often, but it did happen a few times) so you might want to give it a shot.
I've been playing for 6 months. I run out of chips daily. Lately I've been saving them up and only playing once or twice a week. When I start with 100k-200k I tend to be able to play longer and thus rack up more LP's. But even then within a few hours I am broke again. Good Luck
You are not the only one my money drops like a brick Just like vegas without all the fun. today I got some back with BJ but usually that game gets me also.
are you a member of https://www.facebook.com/groups/friendsofmyvegas/ Look for James Hite's posting in Large Chip share. Add friends, but not more than 5-6 a day so you don't go to FB jail.
Yes, I am a member of that group and have benefited from James Hite's chip links. Thanks for the info about friending others. Also thanks to everyone for giving my misery some company.
Another hint about adding friends - even if you only add 5 or 6 a day, if they do not click the button that says they know you outside of Facebook, you can still end up in FB jail and/or locked out of your account. The safest thing to do, especially if you are only adding 5 or 6 new people a day, is to message them first and ask them to friend YOU so that you can play the game together. That way you know you will not get thrown in FB jail for making requests - just make sure you click that you know them outside of FB when they request you. I saw a rmessage a couple of weeks ago on the FriendsofMyVegas group page that someone was purposely clicking that they did not know people in order to get them banned. The perpetrator was not named, but there are always a few out there who have to ruin it for everyone else.
Since its a closed group, are there any other similar groups like the FriendsOfMyVegas, either on FB or other locations? I've only got like 4 real friends playing and would love to get more on the bonus spin than the usual 2000-5000 I usually get now. Also, about the links, I saw a thread on here recently with a bunch of links for free chips, which was really cool, but I can't see them on FB since I'm not in that group. Is there anyway to see those links in other places?
Why don't you join the group? I think the "closed group" thing just means that their admins have to approve your request to join it.
Well, ummmmm, I feel pretty damn stupid right now! Thanks... I totally didn't understand that. I could have joined a month ago but my brain got in the way! Already joined and approved by their admin.
It's not mean to be played for hours and hours I would guess. Or regardless, like a real slot machine, you do lose eventually haha. I go about an hour at time and then try back later. Also it gets a little easier the farther along you get because you harvest WAY more chips from your strip. I'm at level 85, I feel like I've had around 200,000-300,000 chips for the past like 5 months. Never seems to change lately or drain me out. I bet 1000 on the Birds or Around the World.
I helped a friend of mine start a Facebook account last weekend so he could play MyVegas and between Saturday and Sunday he had racked up 8500 LP. When I started the same time the game launched, it took what seemed like forever to get that many lps'!!!
The key I found is to have as many myvegas friends as possible. The best way to do that is join all the MyVegas groups on FB and post to the "add me" threads there. Even if those groups are closed, most will auto add you when ask to join. Friends are good for two things, you can send gifts which gets you 50 for each send and they can send you 50 chips. Also you can earn up to 20k per day in chip shares from your facebook feed. Some general tips to maximize LP at your level you should bet 200 per spin (no more no less) Generally when I am building casinos I spin at the lowest amount. You'll get the same amount of "v's" no matter how much you bet. HTH
I've picked up almost 3K in the last 24 hrs. I don't know if it's luck or what but around a quarter of the time when I collect on a hotel I am getting the amount in LP. I also picked up 1K in a level up. I was just searching the thread to see what people were averaging as in the last 10 days since I started I've hit level 40 and currently have 49K chips and 33K LP. I also managed to chip harvest 250K in chips in a few hours one day and I was under the impression that couldn't happen either. FWIW I only play ATW and bet 200 when my chips are over 40K and drop it to 100 when I am under 40K.
