After counting down the months, weeks, days....we are now down to a few hours....YEAH US!!! 7 Days / 6 nites in Mecca :) Won at Horseshoe SI twice this week to pad the bankroll nicely. Did the early-bird check in with SW and have A 21 / hubby A 57 / daughter A 42 / son-in-law B 2. Not too bad....all packed except the last minute toiletries. Spending some of the last few hours with our 2 yr old great-grandson ....he is going to wonder where his Mimi & Poppy are but plan on some face-time with him, probably at a machine....lol :)

I notice your countdown timer is set for about midnight. Is that when you all arrive? If so where are you flying out of? I know SW's latest flight out of Indy is like 7-8pm. Have a blast! We head out Sat morn, I can't wait!

Thanks Cap'n....haven't stayed at Bally's in a few years, recently Paris but they took out my fav machines and they didn't appreciate my play in August...lol. Played much more at Ballys so we got 6 nites free. We really like both places and have stayed at one or the other for almost 10 years...2 trips a year.

IU - I made the timer based on a approx time and we're really leaving at 10am. We will find a sportsbook or bar for the games on Thurs (IU @ 6:45) and on Fri (UL @ 4:15). We're taking our team shirts for both games and hoping for the best. We are there till Tuesday afternoon so if you want to meet up to watch the Saturday game ( hoping that IU is still alive...) send me a PM. I'll have my iPhone and will be checking this site daily. :)

Have a great trip. I love Bally's. It is definitely on my list to visit in May as I didn't make it there on my last trip.

Hard to believe that just 3 weeks ago I was about to arrive at Ballys, now I'm back to slaving away at work and it will likely be about 18 months until the next trip.

From what I have heard there are a few tequila types for $2 per shot. What are the prices of shots for the other types?

I think its Jose Silver that is 2 bucks a shot. I know they have infused tequila that is SMOOOOOOOOOTH for like 7 bucks a shot. Spendy, but one a night isn't too bad. Margaritas are frozen premixed kind but still good. $2 tacos(chicken or beef) are fantastic.

Sam, this trip our airline ressys were just hubby & I and we usually do only 1 early bird and he's not usually too far behind me so I save him a seat. Daughter did her & s-i-l and she also did 1 early bird. Works fine for us.
