It's a very small room. These were called West Wing rooms before the renovations. They were the only renovated rooms. They are pretty small and have small windows.

IMHO, it is worth the effort to be upgraded to the Grand Tower rooms if you can.

I've tried the $20 sandwich trick and it didn't work. The guy politely handed it back to me and said "Sorry, we don't accept tips"

Its smaller compared to standard room on the main tower. Its good if you are by yourself but you wont get any spectacular view. The location of the west wing rooms is pretty convenient. The west wing bar is right there. You walk out to a starbucks and quick access to the sportsbook. You are also very close to the strip if you want to walk out. You are further away from the main lobby, taxi line, and parking garage. They are still finishing up renovation on that side of the casino - close to the west wing but the major construction is finished.

    Good Luck and Have Fun

It might actually be better for one person than the Grand Tower rooms. They've been renovated more recently. Definitely smaller, but if you're alone I'm not sure how much that matters.

Don't get me wrong, the grand tower rooms are generally considered superior. I just don't know that it matters for a single.
