We are staying at Paris April 6th to 9th. We have walked thru before to get to PH but have never played or stayed there. Any helpful hints for me on the place? Any favorite slots there? I am platinum and have heard rumors that there is a seperate platinum check-in Que. Oui, is that true? LoL

I think there is SOMETIMES a plat check in towards the back.
I'll be there a couple days before you, week from tomorrow.
The crepe stand in the street-scape is pretty good.

As soon as you go into the registration area, look to the right, Platnium should be 1st or 2nd window.

Don't forget the great breakfast buffet at paris too. Have fun, I will be there the end of April.

Don't forget about the 2 slices of pizza and a coke for $9.99 in the walkway to Bally's.
Also, Le Burger Brasserie has an awesome burger for a decent price.
Café Belle Madeleine has free wi-fi if you didn't pay for it with your resort fee.

The slots are always fun and scattered about nicely. There's a nice bank of Aristocrat's Buffalo in the main entrance. A good mix of different manufacturers machines for sure.
That's why I mostly stay there!

    Paris

Paris is our "Home Base" when in Las Vegas, been going there for years. Nice pool area, off the second floor. Also a nice sports book with comfy chairs.
Good free entertainment at the Indigo lounge, just to your right as you enter Ballys from the walkway from Paris.
It's nice to have the Ballys casino connected and so convenient,it like doubles the size of the Paris casino. Bob

Best Diamond Lounge in LV, imho. It's warm and comfortable. Mon Ami Gabi seems to be a lot of people's favorites, including myself.

I have stayed at Paris a couple of times, although i usually get a room at Bally's. But i usually gamble at Paris and Planet Hollywood. As the previous posters mentioned, the crepes are a must do, the lounge with the live bands in the casino make me put a hold on the machines and just listen.
I do have a tip.......if you need a break from all the action inside, sit on one of the park benches outside of Paris (preferably the last one) watching the lights, the people, the Arc de Triomph, etc. The benches are away from the crowds but close enough to enjoy the ambiance. One of the free things i love to do outside of Paris when i just want to relax.
I will be in Vegas in May, August, and Nov. at 3 different Hotels..........but i always sit at the Paris park benches whenever possible because it's Vegas, that's what it's all about.

Good info here, sorry for my short response, it was from my phone.

After you check in, you'll follow the path into the hotel, right off registration (to the right) and you'll come upon a hallway on the right, elevators are back there, they're a little hidden, and by the way, that corridor/corner can get crowded as people have a tendency to stop there to meet or get their bearings. Above each doorway in there shows the floors serviced by that bank of elevators...use the right ones. Pool and spa are on 2nd floor, FYI.
When you come back down, notice the two sundries shops on each side, keep that in mind to find your way back to elevators. Again, as you exit elevator area, right in front of you is Cafe Il St Louis, good nice eating place, good food, reasonable pricing and good people watching. Little unknown, there's a little coffee bar hidden in there for lattes/cappuccinos/etc...much better and faster then the pastry shop, speaking of which will be to your right, along with the creperie. A nice fresh crepe and a coffee for breakfast is awesome. Across from there, on the left, is the Paris Buffet. I am not a huge buffet guy, never seem to eat my share or value-worth, but it is one of the best breakfasts in town. BTW, if you're Diamond/Seven Stars, they have a small dining area that'll have a private chef in there to make your omelettes to order, instead of waiting in the line at the regular buffet. After that, keep walking back that way, there is a nice bar, was/is a dueling pianos place and it eventually curves to the left to enter into Bally's
As for the casino, as with most casinos, it's right machine at the right time. I was there back in June, so I know they were doing some remodeling in the gaming area, some of the table games by Gustov's bar, so I can't speak to what's there now.
The $5 WoF machine in the high-limit area seems pretty friendly, I don't like WoF, but see a lot of people play it, it never seems to give away a lot of big wins, but seems to usually keep people going for a long time or up a hundred or so before they bail.
IMO, the Eiffel Tower is best at night, especially if you wait for a Bellagio show.
Mon Abi Gabi is great to eat at, as not only is the food good, but the people watching is better.
Over by the Sugar Factory, there is a hidden "chocolate lounge" with luxury chocolate fondues and more, find it and try it....Cosmo may have the hidden pizza joint, but Paris has a hidden chocolate lounge

No favorite slots there for me really. Judge Judy slots were pretty amusing haha.

Sugar Factory is good for a reasonable breakfast, standard food and sweet treats, and there is never a line unlike the St Louis Cafe. But Mon Ami Gabi is fantastic for any meal.

CREPES are a must, of course.

For a memorable dinner definitely try the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. It's so beautiful and romantic, food is good too!

Really, all the restaurants in Paris are a huge win, check them out.

Jersey Boys is one of the best shows in Vegas, loved it!

Overall it's a small property easy to get around and hard to get lost.

Mon Ami Gabi is one of the most over rated restaurants in Vegas. Sugar Factory has some good sweets.

Hidden chocolate lounge? How does one find this? I have been to the Sugar Factory but never seen the chocolate lounge.

Love Paris , not a massive casino easy to get around , connected to Bally's, walkway has many dining options. Gustav's Bar the best batenders Chris and James will try and bury you, VP not bad at the bar. Pool I like , while some here don't agree, and in back under the tower are 2 hot tub pools as well. Elevators a short walk from check in.

One of the top restaurants at Paris is Gordon Ramsay Steak.

The food quality and presentation as well as the service is outstanding but it is one extremely noisy restaurant. Don't plan on much conversation at the table!

my Las Vegas home is Paris. there is a mojo rising machine and zorro that can be a lot of fun -easy to find there is only one of each of them. Good wins to you!! Never had a bad meal at any of the Paris restaurants and I think I've eaten at all of them except for Gorden Ramsey steak place, but its getting great reviews. Please post a TR when you return!

I've had good luck playing the tables there and had pretty good experiences with the dealers. Overall, it's one of my favorite spots. I usually make at least one night of playing there if I don't stay there.
