Hi all, I know this has been asked numerous times before. However, I am curious as to why you think the way you do? Which show do you like better and why?

A little background. My husband, myself, and my parents (ages between 25-54) are going to visiting Vegas for our first time in September. None of us have ever seen a Cirque show. Price is not an influence in the matter. We want to make sure we see the best show we can. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Okay, I'll ask...what is Dream? I thought I'd seen most of the Cirque shows and I've not heard of that.

Have seen both, thought both were good, but if I had to pick one it would be Le Reve. Depends on what you like. Ka is a story with a lot of fighting action, while Le Reve is a different type story (the Dream). Le Reve is water based, with aquatic acts and such.

By the way Le Reve is not a cirque du soleil show

It isn't a Cirque show, but very similar. I'd go with Le Reve. We really enjoyed both, but if I had to choose one to see again it would be Le Reve.

I really liked both of these shows a lot. It's hard to say which one I'd choose to see again.

I liked seeing the guy do the high dive 104 feet into a glass of water.

    Quite something!

KA by far. You simply have to see what they do with that stage at least once.

Is there as much acrobatics in KA as in Le Reve? And my apologies to everyone above I wasn't aware that Le Reve isn't an actual Cirque show, i'm new to all of this.

I am curious as to why you picked just those two shows as the BEST in Vegas.

Personally, I think LOVE is better. But, as the regulars will tell you, whenever this question is asked, the rankings move around alot.

You will some that rate EACH of the following as #1.

    LOVE
    KA
    MYSTERE
    La Reve
    O

And, you will find people that did not like each of these:
    LOVE
    KA
    MYSTERE
    La Reve
    O

And, 95% that hated that other one with Chris Angel.

With all that said, many say you have to see Mystere for your first Cirq show. KA is great, but different. Way more action and good guys vs bad guys loose plot line. Zumanity is just different and adult.

With all that said, we are going back to see LOVE again in April.

KA, LOVE, and LE REVE are all one-of-a-kind, only-in-Vegas shows. Extremely unique, elaborate, and worth the ticket price. But each one is quite different from the others. If you're limiting yourself to just one, I'd recommend becoming somewhat familiar with the info and subject matter of all three and just decide which one appeals to you the most. You can't go wrong.

I'd say there are more acrobatics in LE REVE. KA is more focused on technological innovations and stage movements than the performers.

Those shows are the only two showing while we are there. If we had the option we would be going to see "O". I never said that I thought those 2 were the best, they are just our only option.

My wife and I personally did not like KA at all. The stage was amazing but unless you're into martial arts I would go see La Reve instead. There's my two cents.

Le Reve by a mile for me. My wife and I hated Ka.

That said, many people like it and I respect that. Le Reve just had more action and interest for me.

My wife and I really didn't like KA. Which is weird because we've loved every other cirque show we've been to. Of your options, I'd choose le reve.

Mystere was great, and may be my 2nd favorite. But number one is O, by Avery large margin...

ITA! If you are into martial arts then you would like it. I know a few that have fallen asleep in KA...me being one of them...I say go else where unless you really really like a couple hours of martial arts
