I'm just surprised people are sending PM's offering advice?

C'mon, this is far from his first trip to a casino..............

Sorry Nate, I couldn't help myself :peace:

If you'd like me to add more casino's just say so. I'm getting pretty handy in paint. If I don't get rich in Vegas I think I'll start a graphic design studio

very true. the main reason I stick with MGM even though they continue to get tighter and tighter is because of the UFC and Shadow events. but don't worry, next UFC fight i'll wave to you from ringside when you're sitting 20 rows back with Wynn's tickets. :poke:

Nate, I think the main reason Cosmo did what they did is that your knowledge and concise accounting of your betting, win/loss and theo scares them. The Cosmo has yet to attract, either purposely or by incompetence, real gambling action. And their quarterlies show it.
Judging by their confusion on your prior trip, what they hoped to get with you was someone who had no clue or didn't care about the accuracy of their accounting or their comps value vis a' vis their competition. Guys like those you have commented on previously.
But it seems some of the suits may have sweated your action, especially since you and your crew seemed to be the whole show in the Talon Room etc.
Look at Cosmo's general clientel. Experienced and knowledgeable players are few and far between.
So glad this trip worked out. Great joss.

    Curious

Nate - i was in one of the West End Penthouses a couple of months ago for 2 nights. Very nice, but....What are your thoughts on them? I stayed in the Skylofts the first two nights and still like them better (and loved the Mansion breakfast). Thoughts? Sorry it isn't a gambling question. I was also wondering if you have ever been curious to try the Mirage Villas? Stop laughing....

I love it, especially the butt cheeks at MGM.

hey I take all questions, not just gambling questions :)

I didn't stay at the Cosmo this time, so couldn't tell you. I did stay at the renovated villas at the Mirage, and they were pretty awesome! I would rate them the same as the Bellagio Villas and the Mansion. Note I said the two renovated ones...with the huge outdoor area and BBQ pit.

As for the Skylofts, they are still the best modern themed room I've seen so far...but they are getting a little old...

If I can ask, has your host at MGM tried to get you back? I read your previous trip reports and understand why you left.

Will you give CET time at all? I saw in your previous trip you gave CET limited time and I am wondering if they have any chance in the future. TIA.

Yes, actually if I give up on CET I would have no backup now that Cosmo is off the list. CET was actually ok for me, I won....just a very old vibe.

So far, the MGM has tried a few times, telling me of this event or another...but they are still tightening up, so I rather concentrate play elsewhere.

Venetian has actually become my number 1 with the gift cards....

Nate, do you think you'll end up in a spot where you will have to lower your expectations with comp systems or have no place in Vegas to gamble? Will you lower expectations or gamble in other countries? Hopefully that question didn't come off wrong.

Very valid question; short answer is with global competition my expectations keep getting higher. An big casino that shall not be named has a yacht with 18 rooms and 22 models fully comped for a baccarat sea voyage. You and 17 friends can have a good time!
