Two good sites for hotel rooms for me are Room 77 and Executive Travel Link. As usual good luck.

Ohh you like BookIt.com ? I just started a thread about how they ripped me off once.

I just saw a sponsored advertisement on Twitter about Room 77 today, so that's where I first heard about it.

There have been times when prices for some hotels listed on Kayak were noticeably cheaper than hotels.com, but usually its about the same.

I tend to stick with http://www.hotels.com because of their rewards program (I know other sites have them too). Sometimes I've used Kayak to double check the pricing to see if anything happens to be cheaper. Also I've tried some rather generic websites that check all reservation sites for prices, side by side, because sometimes these websites will charge you more than necessary if they detect you've been there recently and were surfing around at other sites for deals. I've heard that clearing cookies, cache, etc helps but IP addresses and other factors of browser fingerprinting might also be used.

Try Google hotel search. I guess google is now in the booking business but the rates look good.

Everyone has their favorites. I use Room77 just to checkout the room placements by floor, they don't have all the hotels listed thought. My favorite for room rates has always been smartervegas....brings me to the actual hotel site which I prefer.

I find Room 77 is just good for seeing room views.

Priceline is the best, imo. However, you can't pinpoint your stay.

Hotwire is not bad used in conjunction with betterbidding.com.

looks like somebody did a re route. This site has never spammed me and I've found the best deals through the hotel's web site. They just provide the promo codes and a link to the hotel's web site for discounted casino rates.

sign up for their e mail specials

    expedia kayak hotels.com vegas.com smartervegas.com

slot club members can sign up for email specials and mailers on the casino/hotel web site

you can also call the players club and be put on their list for promos.

never heard of room 77 I'll check them out

I like kayak, booking.com and i4vegas.com and this year did well with EasyClickTravel.com at the El Cortez. It pays to look around and also call hotels directly as well. You never know where the deal may pop up. The more places and more often you look, the better the success rate.

I tried looking at the sites you mentioned, I still like kayak to get general prices for the hotel. Then I use booking.com or hotels.com or the actual hotel web site to book. One secret, I notice that sometimes hotels.com and booking.com's prices might be lower than the rate on the kayak and the other sites.

I also found this to be the case with the rent a cars. On dollar and thrifty, while kayak lists the rates, if you go to the dollar or thrifty sites, they have a "las vegas specials" option that usually offers lower rates than the ones offerred by kayak.

as usual, YMMV, I think it best to use different sites to compare rates, hopefully the sites or hotels have a price matching guarantee so you get the lowest rates (hotels.com and booking.com have price matching guarantees).
