So...does anyone know what the deal is with the "Lucky" promotion?
They're offering 3 comped nights - Friday 6/21 through Sunday 6/23...plus a meal/get together... I didn't see any sort of "entry" cost associated with this. What am I missing?

Can't say. I have 3 June offers but they are all pretty straightforward. A VP & slot tournament and another for 4 nights free. Nothing "Lucky" in any of them.

I booked a couple of 2 night offers for the end of Mar/beginning of Apr and since then, May and now June offers have gone out and I got nothing. Has anyone had this happen? Are the offers likely to show up after I use and play on the ones I already booked?

    Nothing on-line either?
We haven't been to Vegas since Christmas, but I still get a mail offer once a month. I am current through June right now.

Yes this is happening to me, but I am not sure if it is normal.

I have a comp from a host for Gold Coast for May, so I have seen no offers online for May or June.

Even though all my rooms are booked through a host, I still get the monthly offers.

I booked Mar/Apr online. Nothing shows for me online for May or June. I haven't noticed this before when I had future bookings, but maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention.

Your responses clarifies why some of us did not get that offer. Your B-connected card for down town Boyd is most likely linked with the Fremont Hotel/Casino. I am with MSS so our offer that same weekend is the “$25,000 Big Time Weekend - 4 night stay“. Since MSS is linked with the California Hotel, it is valid at both locations.

I only participated one time a couple of years ago in these types of offers and it was free.

Last year, we booked through a host and the offers remained on line. I think I lost my host status due to getting sick at Vegas on two of three visits and did not gamble as in the past.

We still had on line offers so for our two upcoming visits, we booked on line. I have noticed that as soon as we made the booking, the offer for that particular month disappeared. The remaining months still exist so it leads me to believe that it is good only once a month. I do not know why your offers disappeared.

I signed up for a Boyd card 2 years ago at the MSS which appears to be my home casino as it comes up everytime I log in to BConnected. Since becoming a member I have a 7097 card score and 19113 slot points. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't that mean I have put $7097 thru Boyd slot machines at their various locations. Most of my points have been earned at the Orleans as I have stayed there the most. I received the 2 free night offer twice last year which I used. I have never received any free night offers for MSS or the Gold Coast even though I have spent time gambling and staying at both casinos. I did not receive anything from the Orleans so far this year either. I guess they decided that they don't want my business anymore. I don't plan on staying or doing any gambling at there casinos in the near future if that's the way they treat loyal customers.

We all have our own comfort levels in how much we wager. If I'm reading your post correctly you stayed at least 4 nights at Orleans last year and in the last two years you have also stayed an unknown number of nights at both MSS & Gold Coast. I'll just assume, two each for a total of 8 nights at Boyd properties in two years. Which works out to ~900 points each time on your card score.

That is not losses, that is just money churned through machines, so I'm not sure how many free nights you expect?

Many times when you first sign up for a card you'll get an offer for a couple of nights free if you gamble even a little, but I suspect if marketing sees no increase in money gambled each trip, the offers dry up.

I'll usually average 8,000-10,000 tier points per day, which earns you room and food offers.

7,097 over two to several days really isn't much. Casinos look at average daily play. Perhaps you'll have better comps with the same rate of play at CET casinos, at least for a one time offer.

The bottom line is room occupancy and room rates have increased over the past two years with increased demand. The free and loose comp offers of the 2008-2010 period are over.
