First post. Bellagio or Paris for breakfast buffet?

Hi everyone. My husband, my parents and I will be traveling to Vegas for our first time in September. We are staying at Bellagio and are debating between the breakfast buffets at Bellagio and Paris. We like pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage and biscuits and gravy. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

 

Bellagio is one of the best buffets in Las Vegas.

 

Bellagio is known as a great buffet and Paris is pretty good. Paris has the basics and I don't know if it's worth the price they charge as some of the smaller off strip casinos offer at least as much in terms of selections for a fraction of the price. I haven't been to the Bellagio buffet so I don't know if they offer something special for what they charge.

 

We always do the Paris breakfast buffet every trip and another night we'll do the Bellagio buffet for dinner. The Bellagio has some incredible options for dinner such as Kobe beef, already opened crab legs, and already peeled jumbo shrimp(my fav) that you would not want to miss out on by eating there at breakfast.

The Paris buffet offers the typical breakfast buffet fare with a lot better taste and quality. They have excellent fresh made creeps and the whip cream tastes like ice cream, makes me drool just thinking about it.

Depending on the length of your stay and appetite Harrah's properties offers what they call a buffet of buffets which is 45.00 a person and gives you 24-hour access to every Harrah's property buffet. I recommend doing The Rio for dinner, Paris for breakfast, any lunch if hungry maybe Caesars and Planet Hollywood for dinner. Planet Hollywood is a poor man's Bellagio buffet in my mind with great food. 45.00 for 24 hours of all you can eat for Rio, Paris, and Planet Hollywood is well worth it if you ask me.


Please don't skip the Bellagio buffet, it is worth every dollar!!! Have fun!

 

I'm not sure I would call the Paris Buffet typical. We really enjoy it but our kids (grown & picky eaters) - not so much. It has food from the 5 regions of France and each has scrambled eggs ....but with different things in them. Same for the potatoes...some in each section but all have different ingredients. Each section has a type of sausage that is found in that region too. They have a great omelet station with ingredients not always found on a buffet. Their crepe station is to die for.... Next time - our kids just need to order an omelet & crepe and get busicuts & gravy... lol
We're CET people and stick with using our comps so have not tried Bellagio but understand it is very good too.

 

Can't go wrong with either.
If lines and crowds are a concern, you may want to stick with Bellagio. Paris is a smaller venue and tends to fill up more.

 

Buffet at Paris

Everytime I stay at Ballys or Paris hotel I eat breakfast at Paris buffet.
I don't think it is a great buffet at all. I just choose some simple foods to eat.
I don't eat much so that is why I eat there. It is just a convenient buffet to eat at.
I don't think they have a great selection as compared to other buffets. Plus, their foods are very greasy.

My advise is to eat breakfast at the Bellagio since you are already there. LucyR.

 

We had heard how good the Paris buffet breakfast was. So when in town in July we ate there using the Buffet of Buffets pass.

The 3 of us went around and took small amounts of what looked good, everything tasted great so then we went back for a second plate. I'm not sure what happened but all of a sudden all 3 of us looked at each other "this is WAY to salty", as in not even edible salty. Odd thing was we were all eating different things.

We didn't have breakfast at the Bellagio but have gone for dinner and lunch. I can't imagine the breakfast is anything less than top of the line stuff.

 

Paris for BREAKFAST buffet hands down.

Small spot tho' so the lines can be long.

 

You can't go wrong with either one.

 

Oversalting of foods is a major problem at all Vegas buffets. Not sure what the solution to this is, other than a major modifications of recipes.

 

Bellagio for dinner especially fri. or sat., Paris for breakfast

 

Does anyone here know the cost for breakfast at Paris, Bally's, Flamingo and Harrah's....we are NOT interested in Buffet of Buffet's deal....just a one time cost for those buffets...on their sites they just list average cost per person is $25 - $40 and I know it can't cost $25 for a BREAKFAST Buffet....at least I hope it doesn't....LOL

These seem like some simple desires, so personally I would skip breakfast and do dinner at Bellagio. You can find a cheap buffet with all the items you mentioned.

 

I love the Paris breakfast buffet, but the B's is actually cheaper ($21 to $18) on weekdays. I guess that makes the Bellagio the choice, unless you have some loyalty to CZR joints.

 

I'd recommend Bellagio for sure. if you start playing MyVegas you can even get free buffet passes.

 

I LOVE Bellagio buffet; it's my favorite BUT I don't like the breakfast there. I would recommend Paris for breakfast and Bellagio for Friday (gourmet) dinner. Go in just before the lunch switches over for dinner and save some $$. Paris has those wonderful made to order crepes with fresh fruit. Yummy!! JMHO, though and food is very subjective.

 

Haven't tried Bellagio buffet but can tell you we really like the Paris buffet as you have plenty of options for fresh food. Not everything is prepared and kept in warmers.

 

Another vote for Paris, I love that they bring really large galsses of juice. Afer a night of drinking it sure hits the spot.

 

Was recently at Bellagio and was shocked how long the line for the buffet was at 7:00 pm. Plan accordingly
