I pulled up my win/loss statement from last year and found something very interesting I wanted to share with you all. My total loss at Caesars properties was nearly to the penny of my bankroll of my combined trips, including my visits to my local Horseshoe . I did have hits, and being the degenerate slot player that I am, I usually put it back through the machine.

I am puzzled why it doesn't reflect the money run back through. The thing that is even more interesting is that my tier score is almost to the penny to the same dollar amount. We use my card when eating and such to accrue points, but we don't eat at high end places and not always on property. Most of my tier score is purely gambling.

Theoretically, these three numbers should not match. Being I only play slots, I should receive 1 credit per $5.00 put through. I am quite sure I did not win 5 times my bankroll, and if I did, I need to get into a GA program ASAP. :ssst: I have read on here and other places that they give you secret tier points that no one knows the rhyme or reason to. Just all seems strange to me, and the math does not make sense at all. (By the way, this was last year before the new "bonus" tier plan was rolled out.)

I was at my local Horseshoe in February and did the math on that single visit, and again the same curious math was true. Hmmmmmm

I haven't any clue on what determines your tier score and rewards credits. My tier score is Zero with only a few hundred reward credits. But all i know is i'm comped for 3 Vegas trips for 2013. I am Gold and always have been. Call me clueless in LA.

You get one tier credit for every $5 in slots. Positive of that.

Would not be unusual to play it through multiple times. You put in $100, and hit $20, and keep playing. You hit another $30, then a $40 and keep playing. That $100 can hit over and over. And like this degenerate Slot player, it all goes back in.

If you watch the counter on the machine, it is very accurate.

Perfect...my point is then, my bankroll should not exactly match my win/loss statement. I sometimes cash out and play on another machine. That should show in my loss statement, yet it does not. I am sure even if I leave the money in the machine, it should keep track of that too. Shouldn't it? And if I am winning back 5 times my bankroll, I am doing something really wrong...re:putting it all back in. LOL

If you have not been to a TR casino this year you will have 0 as your tier score. Everyone has 0 at the first of the year. Your comp is based on your history, not your tier score.

I am good at cycling alot of money through a machine. Sometimes with very little actual money of my own. I like to play. I like to play a long time. It is even better if it is their money. I once played 5 1/2 hours on $100. I earned 3,800 tier credits. I think I am still getting comps based on that play a year ago. Some people win a small jackpot and quit. They might be done in their first 5 minutes. I come to play. I don't think it is wrong. I have a great time. I have won a large Jack Pot ($28,800). That time I did take it home. I would not have won that jackpot if I stoped at the first two jackpots I won that day. If we knew what would happen it would not be gambling.

yes, it should if you lost your entire bankroll every trip. your win/loss statement has nothing to do with coin-in or theo or tier credits or anything like that. the win/loss statement is all about how much cash you brought with you and how much of it you left with the casino. as a slot player, everything is computerized so they can get this exactly right and it should always be exactly on the number. if you took $1k with you on 5 trips last year and always came home with nothing, your win/loss statement should show $5k lost.

I last went to Vegas in Nov.2012, which was the only time i was able to go since May 2011. I am going to Vegas in May, August, and Nov. this year. So what your saying is by the end of 2013 i will acquire a tier and more reward credits? I still can't figure out why my whole year (2013) is comped Sun-Fri at 4 or 5 CET hotels. They must be anticipating my bankroll even though it's Gold.
But then again, my history at CET over the years has been loyal (about 3 or 4 weeks per). Thanks for clearing that up.

Room comps are based on your ADT, which is based on all your gambling activity the entire time you have been in the players club. If they want your action, they could give a rip about the last time you were in the casino or your current tier score.

When you take a cash out, that is not always a win. They add up ALL your wins and ALL your losses.

Said another way, if you put $100 in a machine and spin $10 worth. With no wins, you now have $90. You win/loss would show $10.

If you put that $90 in another machine and play for hours due to some wins along the way, but end up still with $90, you would have lots of tier points, but your win/loss is still at $10.
