Bellagio Lunch-Dinner Switch

I got the 2 lunch buffets from MyVegas and was going to try and go at switch time. Does it close down? If not, when is the best time to go?

The times posted on the LVA site are inaccurate. I was there three weeks ago and the switch-over from lunch to dinner was 3:30, not 4:00.
The strategy I usually follow is this: Show up at the buffet around 2:50. If there is no line present, step outside the casino for the 3:00 performance of Brightman/Bocelli fountain show. Immediately head back in and proceed to the buffet line to beat the 3:30 cut-off.

 

Thanks, Chef. I was worried about getting stuck in line and missing lunch all together (Vouchers are only valid for lunch) or going too early and just sitting around waiting for the good stuff to roll out.

 

I have been to the buffet many times during the switch. It was not intentional. I thought the change over was the slowest of any buffet that I have been to. It just did not go smooth at all. I was left with little to eat. I now make sure I am not there at that time.

 

Don't worry too much about missing the good stuff. Even before the changeover, there is plenty of good stuff at lunch. Truth be told, the biggest difference between the two are the crab legs at dinner.

I too have been there many a time during the changeover and never noticed any problems.
