Are there still those craps machines downtown? If so where? I played it at the Plaza and saw one at at Binions last year.

Obviously it's not the same as actual craps, but I like the fact that the machines have lower minimums AND more importantly I get points for them on my players card. I don't think I got as many points as slots or VP but I still got points - at least at the Plaza.

I played one at the Mirage about a week ago and I thought that it was the same as actual craps, just minus the table excitement. I would play it again.

I'll probably try the one at the El Cortez next week. I'm not sure how it will go. Half of the fun of craps is the table interaction.

I'm pretty sure that the one at the Plaza had a sticker or sign saying that it did not give player's club points.

Not good. It must have changed. I played it last year. And I definitely had points increasing on the card. Not sure if they were slot points or whatever, but I definitely had more points than I started with after playing for a while

El Cortez offers one point for every $3 bet on the automated Craps game, as opposed to their usual $1 = 1 point on their slots. It didn't say if that included odds, but I believe it did based on my play in November.

Thanks for the heads up. I like the EC. Only wish it was closer to the other hotels on Fremont Street Exp.
