I opened up my shinny mailbox today to reveal my 2013 diamond card and promotional mailing. Looks like CET is keeping hush about all theire "amazing new benefits", but they did release a few new ones for diamond players and cut others for platinum.

See the attached images, but big highlights I noticed right away were:

Better RC to Free play exchange moving to $1 for 175 RC credits now for Diamond. 25% better comp return.

Priority lines removed for platnium guests on national benefits mailer. Local props may still offer. Finally replacing the hugely sucessful :evillaugh "TR Insider program" with Diamond Ass-pirations which can be enjoyed till March 2014 but eliminate the TR insider comps they were giving to players in between Diamond and Seven Stars. Its now official I reduce my CET play after hitting my 15K mark this year.

Can someone verify the platinum line at some Vegas casinos? Paris would be a good example.

I recall only seeing that as a perk on Diamond+ for a while. I know casinos around the country have no platinum lines, but many Vegas casinos did. I assume this was due to the large number of new players that are Gold coming to Vegas. It isn't hard to reach platinum at a local casino where you live close by.

A couple things. Platinum was never included in the priority line benefit. This was something done only in Las Vegas, so I expect that to continue. The Insider program was OK, but in the end, your comps and offers are based mainly on your ADT so I'm not too concerned with losing anything. I guess it will be very telling when the summer offers come out. That will be a good indicator of what, if anything they are doing to downgrade up upgrade their offers. Lastly, it's actually easier to quickly get to diamond for most gamblers, so I view this new program as a good thing. Until I see something negative, I'll keep my trap shut.

i got mine too ,theres really no reason for me to go over 15 ,000 tier ,
about the extra tier points theve been using them since the beging of 2013 and the only problem i have is a table player its really hard to know how much you made that day in credits sometimes it takes 24 hours or more to enter there system,.

one day i did 938 ,if i had know i would have hit the 1000 just for the bunus same with 500 credits done 400 plus a few times so its tricky.

ps they dont show in your account so its hard to keep track if you actually get them as tr desk can tell the differnce between added reward and what you actualy did.ive asked for a breakdown and got know where.

They were still offering these when we were there in February. The list is not long. It's all the lower end shows. Did not even include X Burlesque.

I got this today too, I'm looking at it now. Where does it say Diamond Aspirations only starts in 2014? I see it saying it starts after April 2013. The Diamond III actually has pretty decent perks. With the new tier bonuses you can get to 80k points with just 275k coin-in on VP if you do it the right way which isn't much at all. That gives you better perks than Noir players get at MLife for almost 4x the coin-in.

I think you actually get more than Noir in terms of quantifiable perks because of the $750 airfare credit. I don't see any details on that credit though, I wonder if it could be used for 2 people or 1 person for multiple trips. Flying direct from NYC-LAS is easy to do in the $400 range.

You were right, they do start in 2013 and go until March 2014 for benefits. So Diamond aspirations are only good for the year they are earned. I corrected my original post.

LA2VegasTrekkers I was at two free shows in February too (my husband and I are both diamond). I heard it was starting in March from a girl that was at my slot tournament.

I remeber posting about this on Facebook in February so I know I have had it awhile. http://www.totalrewards.com/2013updates/?hootPostID=65d523efcf0da6020930eb6f08f3343b

Last trip I tried to get 2,500 points to get the 5,000 bonus points. The problem I had was trying to keep track of points from multiply properties after the TR desk closed. I wish they were open 24 hours. I missed up and was short a few hundred points and only got the 1,000 bounus points.

I would not stop at 15,000 unless all I cared about was a line pass. I am happy with the perks I get.

We had the same problem. Especially after a few drinks, hopping from casino to casino and trying to add the points on the machine I was playing to the points on the machine the Hubs was playing (yes, we play on the same card), I had all kinds of anxiety about "just missing" the target for the daily bonus. My OCD didn't help either. I'm sure this is by design of the program. We ended up with 4,834 Tier points over our trip.

Next time I try it I will start earlier in the day. That day we drove into Las Vegas and checked in before we hit the machines. Drinks did not help here either. It was about 4 in the morning when I just did not care anymore. I thought I had it, and went to bed. We did have fun trying. In the morning it was disapointing to find out how close I was.

Most of out trips are just 2-3 day trips. Even before this bonus, I tried to earn 3,000 every trip.

Our trips are about the same - four trips 2-4 days each, long weekends basically, except Thanksgiving when we stay Thursday to Sun/Mon. We were there in Feb for basically two full days - got in late Friday and left Monday morning. We made 4,834 with bonuses for that one trip. I'm thinking my plan going forward is to focus on having two full days at 1,000 for the 1,000 bonus, that would be 4,000 points a trip over 4 trips gets us to Diamond. I'm thinking any "small play half days" and such we'll start putting on the Hubs' gold card to try to keep my Diamond ADT up.
