Husband's is a tie. Margaritaville at Flamingo and Society Cafe at Encore.

He likes the French Quarter omelet at Margaritaville and goat cheese omelet (with variation veggie/meat add-ons) at Society. Sensing an omelet theme here?

I like the Eggs Benedict (hollandaise on the side) at Margaritaville and bagel with fruit plate at Society. They also make a great Irish coffee.

*Big runner up. The baguette with cream cheese at Bouchon (Venetian).
I still dream about it. Coffee is delicious.*

    How about you?

I like the Omelet House on Charleston (by UMC) and the Black Bear Diner (Tropicana out by Jones). Omelet House is old school breakfast and Black Bear has HUGE portions of great food. Ate at one of the Reno locations yesterday and I'm still full!

wife and I absolutely loved the bacon and egg breakfast on the patio at mon gabi at the paris.

good quality eggs and bacon and the tastiest hash browns anywhere.

I lost my dear wife to cancer recently so I will carry on the tradition alone next trip and remember how much we enjoyed starting our day there.

ellis island has a pretty good breakfast also.

I'm not a big breakfast eater, so I like Pallio at Bellagio. Great pastry and juice

Smartone: Omelet House makes six egg omelets... Are the portions at Black Bear even bigger than that?

Original Pancake House. Awesome thick bacon, great German Pancake, and Chocolate Chip Pancakes with fresh whipped cream.

You guys are making me hungry. I love The Omelet House and the Original Pancake house. I think I like Mc Mullians and a beer works for me.

Terribly sorry for your loss, friend. Lost an uncle and quite a few friends to cancer, so I can only imagine how tough it must have been to lose the love of your life. If it is any consolation, I would imagine there is a surplus of bacon in heaven - that or I'm coming back!

I don't often get up for breakfast, I'm normally going to bed around 6am and it's normally lunchtime when I first eat

I've heard that Du-Pars is meant to be very good, so was thinking about trying it out this summer when I'm staying at the Nugget.

Du-Pars is very good. The pancakes are their specialty. They easily had the best pancakes downtown until Chef Natalie opened Eat at 707 Carson.

    McDs 2/$3.33 sausage egg muffins.

We did the high end breakfast buffets, but we aren't hungry early in the morning.

Thanks, survivor. We're definitely going to try Mon Ami Gabi for breakfast sometime.

Good luck on your next trip.

I've read a lot of good things about Blueberry Hill, dmr.

What's your favorite thing to order there?

Golden Grill at the Gold Spike. I love their Meat Lovers Skillet. Good fast and friendly service, easy to get in and out, and you cannot beat the prices. Not for everyone, but it is my go to place for breakfast downtown.
