... well, it ain't Saturday Night, that's for sure! Born and raised in New York city but now leading that dull suburban life .. which I chose so I ought to quit bitching!

Have about 10 trips in all through date, - been at Paris, Caesars, MGM, TI, New York New York(which looked strangely familiar? go figure?), Venetian and have now sort of settled on Bally's as a home base. Like the price (usually can get comped), location (center strip) and just find it a solid mid level hotel. If money wasn't an object ... probably choose Caesars .. but I can walk across the street, can't I.

Mostly a black jack and VP player ... although a big sports fan, I cannot pick a winner for the life of me, but usually make one $200-500 range bet per trip. My budget per trip is usually 2-3K which I think puts me in the "low roller" category. That's fine - I've always been a member of the rabble in good standing!

Bally's IS a solid joint... late last year, I went there for a breakfast meeting @ 9 a.m. on like Wednesday and was impressed with how lively everything was there. Sure there were lots of folks waiting in lines for their coffee fix, but just a lot goin' on and surprisingly a lot of action in the casino at that hour.

    Addicts, Sybgal?

This isn't an addiction for me, its a hobby, like drinking beer (not the best analogy but you know what I mean!)

    And thanks for the welcome!

For me, its about balance, Smartone

Quad might be a little too lowdown (though I've stayed in some bad places, this is supposed to be a vacation) while paying $50-100 night for an upcale when I could get omp at Bally's - I view that as more money to gamble ... or drink .. or gamble and drink .. or drink and gamble (yes, I am a well rounded person).
