Heading down to Vegas this weekend, and am hoping to find some places to slowly play my bankroll in between the $25 tables. I'm not much of a stickler for odds, as it seems most places are going the 6:5 route. I am more or less looking to be able to play for longer and drink more, without the higher risk during the day.

My pals and I used to frequent the Sahara for the $1 table as a way to have some fun and drink (tipping well of course for good service), but unfortunately our former watering hole is now closed.

Looking around on here it seems Downtown (El Cortez?), Hooters, Harrah's and some other places offer low blackjack. I also heard NY NY has $5 tables 24/7 now, but I'm aware these fill up quickly. Any hotels I'm forgetting, or don't know about?

There is obviously a demand for the $5 tables, as they always seem to be full. Surely some people out there know where to find some $5-$10 tables.

    Thanks

Downtown is your best bet for low limit games. The Fremont even has $3 blackjack 24/7. I'm pretty sure that all of the downtown casinos have $5 blackjack 24/7. My Favorite is the Main Street Station for the microbrew beer.

There will ALWAYS be $10 tables available at Monte Carlo, NYNY, Excalibur, Luxor, etc. Most of those will have $5 tables during the day as well. Don't settle for a 6:5 table, there will some low minimum 3:2 tables at most MGM properties. I've seen $5 tables at the MGM Grand on a weekend afternoon before.

It all just depends on the time of day and how busy it is.

Don't know if you will have transportation or not, but the last time I was there before Christmas, the Orleans had plenty of $5 tables all the time, pays 3:2. The wife and I had a great time playing on a Saturday evening. We bought in for $100 each and played for around 4 hours and both walked away winners. Fun, social tables.

Even if no transportation, there is a free shuttle that runs until around midnight from Bally's...I don't have all the details as I drive up from Orange County so have my truck.

Downtown is definitely the place to start your quest. Why?

    1. Most of the DT casinos do have some low-limit tables.

    2. Drink service is very good at most DT casinos.

    3. You can easily walk from one casino to another if the table you are desiring is too crowded, too
smokey, etc. "Shopping" for the ideal BJ table on the strip requires some very comfortable
    walking shoes!

I've had a lot of fun paying BJ at Monte Carlo...I'm pretty sure you can find $5 there most of the time. MGM Grand usually has good action as well.

For some reason I think that Casino Royale has $5 tables. I always stumble in there for a while while I'm walking down the strip.

The Westin Happy Hour has 25 cent Roulette, $3 Craps, and $5 Blackjack. Monday through Thursday, from 5pm to 8pm.

Dealers were extremely nice and the drink service was really good when I was there last month.

The Quad always has $5 blackjack tables 24/7. (6:5 mind you) I've also seen them at Luxor and Excal. Usually any of the lower end properties on the strip have them during the day, at night it may be a little tougher to find.

Downtown its very easy to find $5 blackjack at all hours!

Ellis Island is a MUST for $5 BJ.
Can dine on the crazy good $7.99 steak special, and drink comped craft brews while playing the tables.
Dealers are old school Vegas guys. Have spent plenty of time on the other side of the tables themselves. Pretty good stories if you like to chat a bit.

I was in Vegas last October and the Westin ( very quiet and low key- not a bad place to get away from the hustle of the strip and even downtown) had a $5 shoe game with pretty good rules.

I like orleans and gold coast for tables near the strip . Otherwise downtown is the place to be. When I stay at wild wild west, I love their bj tables too. But mgm props have cheap tables with good odds.

If you wanna go far out to boulder highway , longhorn has 2 dollar bj with the best rules on earth. Jokers wild nearby also has dollar craps.
