I feel like if you take a decent win you get alot more offers. I won 6k my first time in vegas and had 5 free nights anywhere I wanted after that.

My next time I lost 3k and have hardly any offers. This was putting many hours in at the table too over 4 days.

I had a friend go to AC put 6 hours in at blackjack and won 1800. He now has 4 free nights almost anywhere he wants.

Doesn't seem to go with the average bet X length on play very much which gives you a total amount bet and theoretical loss. Doesn't follow this at all.

Do you think when you win they try hard to get you back?

No, I don't think a win or loss matters.

I think CET does do teaser offers for new players to try and get you back out, which might explain what you've seen. I also suspect (but can't prove) that the offers are a bit better if you haven't been back in awhile (they feel like they have to do more to entice you to come out).

But win vs loss should not matter.

Other factors could be affecting what you've seen, too. For example, for your "many hours over 4 days", its possible that this was actually fewer hours per day than your original play, resulting in lower ADT.

Its also possible you didn't get rated as well by a pit boss.

And finally, CET offers (and everyone else's) have been somewhat on the decline as of late as room demand strengthens.

This theory doesnt fly. If so my box should be full of AC offers. I cleaned CET's clock presidents day weekend, and they have rewarded winnings and over comp with a free buffet and 1 free room night till Oct.

Granted this could the standard marketing department offer, but even though I racked up 4k in tier credts for 36 hours, they still think I low played them. Not sure how quickly CET turns around market specific offers, but I am not expecting anything more from AC or LV for that matter this year.

Funkhouser, does 4k in tier include tier credit bonuses or not?

Either way, I would expect you to get more than what you currently have.

Were these scant AC offers given to you AFTER this session and not an offer that's been readily available to you before presidents day?

I'm not exactly sure on CET's turnaround time in AC, but when Harrah's was in St. Louis, offers were computed monthly, and they didn't show up online until maybe the 8th-10th or so? and then I got a mailer a few days later I really don't remember the exact date though. It's very possible they have yet to "reward" your Presidents' Day trip.

The AC offers take a while, at least a month to catch up. At least in Harrahs AC which is my home casino.

When you win you tend to bet more in less time, hence a higher ADT and you will receive offers accordingly. When you are losing you tend to milk it longer so it lasts and your ADT is lower. You may not even be aware of the difference in pace and time of your bets, but you can be assured you and everyone else plays the same way. We are all a little looser when we are up big.

I do not think this is true - not that I can prove it either way.

But, based on posts here over the past few years, a first visit with even a LITTLE play will generate free room offers.

Then depending on your play, and the spin the of the marketing wheel, your offers will generally drop off unless your play escalates.

You indicated two things that may hurt your value to CET. You played over 4 days. Each day figures into your average. And, if you played just a little on the day you left, it might be looked at as 5 days. Second thing is table games. They get less worth to CET than slots. Just the way it is.

It has to be the fact that he was first timer. I have now been three times. So he probably got nice initial offers. Also, I think the fact of pit bosses not doing a very good job can factor in as well.

I only had around 1000 bonus credits, but I deducted those from the 4K totals. I went out to AC on a free airfare, 2 night comp, and $99 dollar airfare for mrs funhouser. I also has some low end FP I used. The offer I got was an acknowlegement of my recent trip, so maybe it is just an ADT calculation quick offer they send out. I thought it was BS since it was a 6 month window marketing offer. I still have another free airfare and room offer, along with a free offer to tunica for spring. Still plan on low playing CET my next two visits and re-directing my play to Wynn, TI, and Cosmo for my April trip. CET will only get my free play cycled thru there slots unless something monumental comes out on April 1st in terms of tier offering. They have kinda PO'd me with the comp reductions.

It's true with me because when I'm winning I press and play longer, so I generate more theo, and more comps.
