We aren't gourmands but we would really like a great fish dinner while we are in town next week. I checked with my concierge but she really only offered Asian and Greek restaurants.

Any recommendations? Looking to spend $20-$40 per person.

May be at the high end of your budget but I hear great things about Roy's.

Not sure where you're staying but if you're downtown, both Triple George and Chart House (Golden Nugget) have decent seafood... if you're on the Strip, I agree with R&M at Mandalay. I also love Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab out front of Caesar's, but that gets a bit pricey.

Just kidding....as someone else mentioned, Roys is awesome but will likely be $50-60 per person. Just down the street, McCormick & Schmick's is another good option for a few dollars less.

I haven't eaten there for dinner, but I had a phenomenal lunch at Emeril's (inside MGM Grand) a couple years ago.

They are actually really good, they are really moist and tender. If you like the Filet o' Fish, you'll like these too.

If catfish is one of the choices, this is a great place.

There are mixed reviews on the El Cortez Walleye pike at the Flame, but I thought it was very tasty and seek it out every trip, usually with a Restaurant.com coupon.

I thought of recommending Lola's, but feared it might be difficult to find... it is OUTSTANDING!!!!

Very casual and reasonably priced too...

I think alot of it depends on what type of fish you're looking for. The south is known for catfish, the NW and Alaska are salmon (various salmon species, all of which are a bit different), cod and rockfish. the NE is Atlantic salmon and lobster. Granted they're all fish but they're all cooked different.

Fish seems to be much more regional than any other cut of meat. One of the reasons I want to go to New Orleans is to try their seafood out and see what spin they put on it.

Anyone tried the seafood place inside TI? It got a good write up in one of those reports that Westie posts here. The steamed clams and mussels were supposed to be great.

I'd go w/ Emerils as well. I've eaten there probably 8 different times since 1998, and have never had a bad meal or poor service.

American Fish in Aria is the best and highest rated seafood in Las Vegas.
Not inexpensive but have had great meals there.
Happy hour for apps is reasonably priced.
