    Hello everyone! We live in Texas just outside of San Antonio. My Wife and I are headed back to Vegas for our 3rd trip in March (45 days to be exact). We were there last March for NASCAR weekend and are excited to be going again this year. I have found this site extremely helpful in all things Vegas, and look forward to applying my new found knowledges of Vegas. :beer:

    Sorry I don't. We are not going to the race this year so haven't really looked into activities outside of the race. I will probably find a bar on the strip somewhere to relax and watch the race.

    Lol, thanks broncobilly. We are driving from TX and will need Sunday to relax after the 22 hr drive.... But after that it's game on... Drinking WILL occur during the race too.

    Thanks Kelly! We love our road trips. My wife is from Washington state and we have done that 36 hour road trip 3 times. With 3 of us driving to Vegas it saves us a lot by not paying for the airfare and we have a car to get around in.

    Born and raised in Texas. We can handle road trips. Depending on where you live, half your drive might be in the lone star state.

    Car Hauler Parade

    I am a NASCAR fan but not enough of one to go to races these days...I went to a good many races at Darlington when I was in the Marine Corps a few moons ago...

    Anyway, if you are in town on Wednesday evening, the car hauler parade down the strip is a bit of free fun. We were there one year during that time and enjoyed watching them roll in from Phoenix...

    I was just talking to my Wife about that just yesterday, that we need to go a week early next year to go and see all the NASCAR activities. But unfortunately we won't be arriving until Sunday around noon.
