Never really engaged much with GregRio but he did offer some show and seating advice that I never got the chance to take last trip. Hopefully I will get a chance to enjoy one of his show and seat suggestions, if not this trip then sometime soon.

To his family and friends, may you be at peace to know brought a wealth of knowledge to many people on this board and is now in a better place.

It's wonderful and amazing all the lives he touched through this board, even if only through a great recommendation. The loss of so generous a spirit is felt by everyone.

Greg touched so many people on so many boards. The condolences are pouring in everywhere--all the same. I had the pleasure of meeting Greg a few years ago at a big members meet on another board. I'm very grateful to have a picture of us together. He was an irreplaceable treasure. He's out of pain and he's watching every show from the best seats in the house! RIP, Greg.

Very sad to hear, its a big loss for our VMB Community.

I really enjoyed his posts, if you are not familar with Greg
Not only was he the Vegas show guru, he knew all the changes happening, knew the deals, and had great well informed info in his posts.

Im gonna miss the guy, RIP Greg, hope you get front row seats in the showroom in the sky.

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm no longer a show person and don't read a lot of threads about shows.

Was his avatar him in front of a bunch of wall posters from shows? Or is that someone else on the board?

Thats a shocker, may he rest in peace. He was always a help to every one on the board. I am happy to have met him and to have broken bread with him before a show in Vegas. He will be missed.

Greg was probably one of the most helpful people to ever be on this board. He knew his stuff and you could tell that entertainment was in his blood. I've never been much of a show person, but I know Greg would have offered the best advice if I ever asked.

People may come and go, sometimes with fanfare, most times not, but there are many on this board who benefited from a brief interaction with this man on a mostly anonymous message board. The lights in Vegas truly won't be shining as bright this evening. Greg will definitely be missed.

For those that knew him personally, I am sorry for your loss...

Delo, thank you very much for sharing Greg's message of his last days. I am in tears when I read his words. He fought the stage-4 cancer along with lots of pains with good spirit. I miss Greg very much.

Yes, that was one of the avatars he used - a wall showing many of the Playbill covers and other show posters he had in his house. His advice is one reason I'm glad we archive posts for a while here so people will continue to be able to access his opinions:peace:

Wow, I had no idea he was unwell. I never met Greg, but valued his opinion since I joined this board. R. I. P. Greg, you will be missed more than you will ever know.

Love and best wishes to his family and friends. He had an awesome internet presence. His posts were always great advice.

Greg's show opinions should be archived as long as the show (or theatre) is still there. His advice on seat location is second to none.
