Does the LVA coupon book have a card "required" to use the coupons? (Like the ACG book does)

I was wanting a few coupons from LVA but would rather trade out of the 2 ACG books I have instead of buying that one too.

Thanks for info and have a great night!

No card required but according to the terms on the coupons....you are supposed to remove the coupon from the book in the presence of the casino employee.

If you take only one trip to Vegas per year, it may or may not be worth the $37 to sign up for the LVA membership and coupon book. However, taking more than one trip per year, you will definitely get more than your money's worth ... what with all the food, entertainment, and free-play coupons.

The LVA coupon book is very slim and lightweight (nothing at all like the very heavy and bulky ACG book) so it is very easy to pack and carry in a purse or backpack. It is about the size of a pamphlet as far as dimensions go.

Whether or not it is worth it depends on how many of the coupons you think you will actually use. If you intend to use a lot of them, it will more than pay for itself. If you intend to only get a few LVA coupons from a trade, then it couldn't hurt to try and use them anyway since you are trading ACG coupons you obviously are not going to use. Not everyone will ask you to rip out the coupon from the actual book, but if someone asks where the LVA book is, you can plead ignorance and say you didn't realize you had to carry the whole book around and left it at your hotel. Over the several years I used the 50% off Palms coupon at Gardunos (miss that place!), they never once asked to see the whole LVA book (even though I did have it with me just in case).

The book will fit in the back pocket of your jeans, and the pages are perforated so they come out easy and it is easy to carry the book unlike the ACG. Go to the website and see the coupons and make your decision. There is a good coupon for the Flame Steakhouse and Palms that is up to $80 if you use those 2. I used to buy both the ACG and LVA book, but the 2 for 1 or 50% OFF SINGLE coupons have all but disappeared and my dining habits have changed over the years but I always check both. They are a great deal if you use enough of them.
