    Trips to Las Vegas:
    20
    Day 5

Woke up about 10am, have the whole day to myself and the room booked until the next day as well so I don’t have to inconvenience myself by checking out at 11am! I wander down to the Venetian food court and have an easy and simple breakfast of greasy pizza. Wonderful. After that I head out for a walk up and down the strip. I wasn’t propositioned by a working lady nor asked to take a demo CD by an aspiring ‘artist’ and listen to it. It was just an easy easy walk and one of the more relaxing parts of the trip. I brought my entire winnings, (2k), with me on the walk and was my budget for the day. If I busted out I still go home even and that’s a victory in itself.
I eventually made it to the Tropicana. Now, I have not been in the place since they’ve remodeled it, and although the coconut smell reminds me somewhat of a West Indies Cricket Team’s locker room, it’s tolerable. They have some ‘ok’ 9/5 DDB at the bar so I plonk my arse down and play on this loss promotion they’re having. Well, with the 200 gone in about 30 minutes, I hit up the immediate 100 in freeplay. I take it to the high limit slot and the luck continues on the $5 machines. Easy hit for 450. Boom. I take it and then continue to play various machines for the next couple hours. Leave the Tropicana around 3pm, down 200 overall from the bankroll, but got the attention of the host on duty whom invited me and the boys down to her neck of the woods. Will I take her up on it? Maybe…. We’ll see what she offers.

After that I head up to the Wynn again to spend the afternoon. I go immediately grab a deli sandwich from Zooza there, not too shabby, big pickle (That’s what she said… boom.) and ate it all up. Took 1000 to the roulette table again playing the 200 a spin technique from yesterday, minus the alcohol…. Easy ginger ales on flight day! On my last spin I hit 4 so I got 875 back of the 1000 I put down. I played one more spin doubling the 4 just incase and lost it. Oh well. Off to the slots to see if luck still holds. Play the top dollar again, and boom, 90 credits. Another 450 bones. Beauty. Take that cash to some VP where I get skunked for the next 4 hours. VP was not going well for me this trip at all.

I head back to the room, check-out and head to the airport sober and with my bankroll plus 1000 dollars. Overall a great trip with lots of memories and good times. Hope everyone enjoyed it, I’m headed back mid march for another romp, although it’ll be with the wife so a lot more food porn and less drunken shenanigans.

Your trip sounded like it was stuffed full of vegas memories and a grand to the good. They don't get much better than that. You take care of that liver back home!

Great trip report! I'm impressed with how lucky you and your friends are at the high limit slots....they usually just eat my money and laugh at me.

    Thanks for posting!

Anyone who hasn't partied in some random farmers field and woken up in the ditch next to said farmers field can't possibly understand what drinking in NWO is like.

    Great trip report.

Countdown to the desert is on folks... 60 days. Will write it all up when i'm home again. 5 nights, first three on the BeeJay comp yourself itinerary at the Mandarin Oriental and the last two at the Mandalay Bay on a pretty decent offer. Going to leave the Wynn alone this time and stay on the south side of the strip. The boys are going back with me and we'll try to get in just as much trouble. until then!

Is there a difference between China Shores and China Shores Spin and Win? I see they have them at Sam's Town and Orleans, my next stop. Thinking about breaking rule 4 and donating to a machine other than VP.
