The website has always been total crap.

But I spoke to my host about getting my win/loss statement, and he said they were working on the website, and would be up tomorrow.

You know, it wouldn't even be so bad, if after one of these stretches where you can't get in at all - you saw SOME improvement - but the site keeps losing functionality and not ever seeming to gain any. They at least used to be able to put new offers out and remove old ones. Now they can't even seem to do that. At least M Life can't - I have relatively new offers from both the Aria and the Mirag on the site - but M Life can't even get their own corporate offers out there.

And what's most amazing is that they're still not even the worst in town! Cosmopolitan's Identity site has been "under routine maintenance" for, what, a year and a half now?

glad you mentioned Cosmo - I was wondering if it was just me where it wasn't working :)

tried to get into the Identity site ever since our trip 6 months ago - didn't realise it had been dead for a year and a half though!!! - why don't they just pull the link (or at least tell you before you login!!!!)

I think it might be because they want it to suck. I can't see how a company like MGM/Mirage could survive this long. My opinion is they want it to SUCK.

I can't figure out for the life of me how a company the size of MGM can't get a functional website put together that properly displays offers and allows booking of those offers without having to call every property individually. I've hired companies to design a similar (albeit a MUCH smaller scale) system for my own company in the past and it wasn't that difficult or costly. Now I fully realize that they're requirements are much more complex, and they have a way bigger database to construct, and more bells and whistles, but their budget for this has to be in the tens of millions. They can't hire competent IT guys to put this together with that budget? Or even find a third party with the capabilities to do it?

It's truly hard to fathom, and even harder to fathom the complacency of management on the matter.

Agreed. I am calling to cancel my reservation at the Aria, and the wait music says 'due to issues with our website, we are experiencing higher than normal call volume.' I've been on hold for 15 minutes so far...

We all know by now there is no IT staff at MLife. They were layed off a long long time ago. All website construction is done by $5/hour contractors that they only keep on for 20 hours every other month.

I just got into it. New look. Same fall offers that have been there for 6 months. But they look prettier now.

I'm finding that it's actually working much better; there are still some offers that I have to call for (I can't book my comp rooms at Mandalay, for example), but discounts are showing up that definitely weren't there before, but should have been. Plus searches update live as you change options, instead of having to re-set dates and run a new search every time.

And I can access my tax statements now. Yay. They're way off, but they are there

Looks much better. Lists more properties with offers. Does not list everything, but it is a definite improvement.

Couldn't have said it better myself...It just blows my mind!

Every day for the last week I've gotten this message when I try to log on :

    "What Happened Here?
An unexpected error has occurred and we can't process your request right now.
We're sorry for the inconvenience. "

    I'm SOOOO pissed.... :cuss:

So I need to get a Mlife account to claim my rewards on Myvegas? Is there a number I can call to do this and just pick up a card when I get to Vegas?
I'm still having issues with the web-site.
