How much does it cost to get a late check out at the palazzo? What time does it extend too?

Not sure if you are getting comped room or not. If you are, many just get one more night comped, and then leave later in the day when they head to airport. Assuming you have a late flight?

With a 5pm flight, you will be leaving for airport by 3, if not a bit sooner. Noon checkout should not be a problem, leave bags with desk, go have lunch, etc an then leave. Maybe?

Last time we stayed at the Palazzo we were able to extend our checkout to 1pm just by asking, no charge. It was a weekday so it may have been no problem for them. Also, they can hold your luggage complementary (+tip) at the valet entrance. There is a little check-in desk to the side of the doors. I don't remember if there is a time limit or not, but we used this feature on our last day before our flight as we had some time to kill.

It is a rare hotel that would not keep your bags for you. The answer is yes. This is a very common practice in the hotel world. Works out great, EXCEPT when there is a big meeting/conference in the hotel, and the attendees must stay until late afternoon on the last day, and they swamp the desk with bags, and then all show up at the same time later to get them. Not normal, but it can happen. Very rare.

Had late check out at the Palazzo offered to me a few years back after getting a room upgrade, resort fees waived and a few free admission and line passes for Tao after using the $20 trick. Check out was at 2:00 p.m. on a Sunday. I think Sunday is the easiest to get late check out comped since Saturdays are usually near full occupancy and they know there is a large number of rooms the maids won't be able to get to later anyway.
