I've been gong to Vegas for about 7 years, generally about 5-6 times a year. I'm not a massive gambler by any means but I've rarely had to pay much more than $20 for any room at CES properties and almost entirely gotten comp rooms. I've always stayed at CES properties. I just logged into my TR for the first time since my last trip in DEC to see about getting out there in the next 2-3 weeks and I have no offers and no comps. I know the TR program changed this year, but so much that I'm not getting comps or even offers anymore??
I would call. They did change the program, but only to the extent that you have to earn more Tier credits to get the higher level players cards. I don't think that should change what you can get comped, since your history of ADT is unchanged.
What you are experiencing is the same as many low rollers have been saying, no comp'd rooms, I can't even get comped at The Quad, last year stayed for free at Flamingo for 4 nights.
I noticed the same thing when I went to book my May trip. Normally I get comped at PHO but this time only 3 nights were comped. So the first two nights will be on a comp from MGM. Mark
Yeah I thought it may have been a website issue because I have seen that before but I went through a fake booking and couldn't get any comps on variety of days. I'm getting sale prices though....guess Vegas has massively rebounded in the last 2 mos??
i think the visitor count has rebounded, but the visitor spend continues to suffer. so they may be in a slightly better position from a room perspective. additionally the major players are pulling back comps to save promotional expense. once that effects their visitor counts the offers will rebound.
i just got a bunch of offers via email and in the mail today from ACity and I rarely play there... i usually fly to vegas LOL
I have been cut off too but I don't think my play last trip matched up to Paris standards. Plus I visited their local casinos maybe three times in the last six months and one of those visits was to pick up a gift with no play. At one point, I had no comped rooms on the calendar for anywhere. Now I am seeing random rooms here and there. I am not sweating it. That's why I've been spending more time at Boyd joints.
Visits like that will take your ADT down, real quick. In end, the casino puts a value on bringing you back. If they think you are going to have a $40 bankroll, they decide not to give away a free room. Simple business. The first time or two, they gamble that you are a good risk/gambler. After a few low play visits, they learn their lesson. Simple business.
Same exact thing here! I thought it was only me. I never played big but always got very generous room comps including Caesars (on calendar) but since my last trip- NOTHING. Think it will come back?
I agree with LA2VegasTrekkers. I would call. My offers still number over 100 in the offer list (I have 2-3 Vegas trips annually, but many more to Tahoe/Reno). I think there must be something wrong with your online account if you are seeing zero offers.
I don't want to sound harsh here, but I really like the new system. It allows higher theo lower frequency players like me more comps. I'm not saying the low rollers in this thread weren't marginally profitable, because they were, but that profit margin was so low for the casinos it forced them to undercomp players like me to make up for it. Instead of the standard room comp at Paris. I now get a host, $500 freeplay and a suite at any of their Vegas properties. Typical comp rates should be around 30-40% of theo, but it's my guess some of the CET diamond low rollers were pushing that closer to 80%-90% on trips to Vegas when accounting for room comps, diamond lounges and free meals/drinks. If this change negatively affects CET's bottom line, they will change back. With any change, management will have to wait and see how the dust settles and go from there, but count me as one person who thinks this is a positive change. Sorry to all the low rollers, as I know this negatively affects you and your experience as a gambler.
I think thats exactly what they intended with the change in the programme. I notice on the board many only think in terms of high/low roller but I do believe that I'm more low-mid roller, and thats just because I go frequently so I don't like to go too crazy on any one trip. I usually spend a healthy amount on food and drink and I believe CES tracks that. Thats why I'm a little surprised that the offers are gone because its not like I'm getting to LAS for a free room and just soaking up the scenery I'll give them a ring and see if its an error or problem with the account. It would be unfortunate to have used CES for so many years, spent money almost exclusively at their properties and now get tossed aside because of the change to the system. Maybe I should jump to MLife? Is it worth the change?
For me the new system should work out better. I hit the machine pretty hard. To earn 2,500 tier credits in a day is easy the way I play. I usually have multiply trips booked just in case I get cut off. I did see a difference in my room offers at Caesars. I usually get the Octavius Tower even on weekend. I stopped seeing the weekend comps for that tower. I did have two trips where my play was not what it usually is. It was durring my daughter wedding where I babysat and not gambled. On my last trip in December I was picking up my cruise certificate. In two days my husband and I both earned 5,500 teir credits each. He is diamond but never gets any mailers. Most everything is in my name. Mine stopped and he started getting them instead of me. My free play dropped too. Then I looked up my offers and I have all new ones. Even another cruise. I don't have the mailer yet but I booked it anyway. I think my dry spell is ending but not over. I want my Octavius Tower on the weekends. I have RA and like my tub.
