Just a quick message to let you all know that I've been to vegas from january 27 to 31. And I miss that damn city so much.

Damn I would be there right now. Wake up right next to the strip, have breakfast at Mon ami Gabi, then walk to all the casinos, have a couple drinks, watch a show, walk again on the strip at night...

That city is absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go back ... :(

    Back to reality ...

The only cure to missing Vegas is planning your next trip. I used to start on the plane ride home, now I have two future trips planned and want to start booking a third. It's a downward spiral.

Worst part of my trip is always sitting on the plane waiting to take off to go back home.

I know this feeling. Upon landing and walking to get my bags, I see all the people sitting waiting for their flights home and it depresses me thinking about it so I rush past the gates as fast as possible. Then when the trip is over and I am sitting waiting to board my flight is when I miss it the most. I book real early flights home so I do not sit while others are arriving, at least I miss out on being jealous of those arriving who now have their whole trip in front of them.

I go at least twice a year, usually three times. Due to us getting our house ready to sell and other reasons, I am looking at the distinct possibility of going only once this year. It's looking like it will be a full year between trips. At this point, four months from my last trip, I am starting to shake. Yes, you could say I am missing Vegas.

What I do when coming out of the gate is point and laugh at all the people leaving! Nanner nanner, boo boo, I just got to Vegas and you are leaving! Although I know I will be one of those sad faces leaving in like 4-5 days!

It's "The McCarran Death March". :evillaugh
    .
I always make sure I look at their faces -
    Haulin' all their junk...begrudgingly...draggin' suitcases...
    ...dead tired.......some sunburned......all looking older
than they were a couple days ago....hardly speaking
...you don't see ANY excitement on their faces -- as
opposed to the LOUD / VIBRANT / FAST WALKING crowd
    going the other way.

Well said... McCarran is always one of my favorite "people watching" experiences and exactly as you stated!

I'd rather sit in the airport for a flight home than have to drive 5 hours. That's the worst.

The only good thing about that trip back was that I tried the video poker at McCarran even though I heard that theyre the tightest slots you can get.

But first 1,25 bet that I did, got quad jacks and won 85$ :D Not bad.

Can't wait to go back to vegas. Can't. Wait.

I relate. Just there 2 months ago, already obsessed with the July trip. I love airports. I'm not one of those sad sacks going home though. I'm ready to go after a week. A person can only take so much sensory overload. I play Airport Deuces at the airport for $20 double or nothing on the way home, too. I HAVE to have a next trip in the works at all times

Feltbettor- I ONLY go during our winter. Why go during summer here, when we only have 3 months of great weather and it is miserable in Vegas? So yes, I know exactly what you are saying.
