I just browsed the MyVegas rewards and noticed they had NO tower suite awards listed for the Mirage at all. They are usually sold out, now they aren't even showing as a possible award, at least on my game.

This award is the only reason I've been playing this silly game and chasing chips for months! I get all the comped rooms at CET props that I want, but certainly don't get comped in suites of that level. Was going to get a 2 night reward and a 1 nite award and enjoy a nice suite for my next trip, doesn't look like it now.

Anyone else see these as still listed as a reward, even if sold out?
    Thanks!

It appears that they've pulled it. Sometimes this happens with rewards, but they can reappear after a while. This happened with the Bellagio buffet, as well as Carrot Top recently. Fingers crossed they come back soon!

Thanks. Nice to know they can come back, although I'm skeptical with all the recent changes. I don't need them for awhile, but really bummed since it's really they only thing I want.

Keep fingers crossed!! For those with enough points I think the City View Aria is available and the Hotel 32 still.

I guess that explains why they were loading up 10 or more of the 2-night variety at a time these last few days. They were unloading their inventory.

They may come back, it all just depends on whether Mirage is willing to give them anymore inventory. I wouldn't be surprised if they come back at a higher loyalty point cost though.

I was able to get one yesterday, after trying four days. After reading Blatz's TR about his stay, I'm really pumped. We will use this in June on our 30th anniversary trip, really glad I got it. :Þ :wink2:

Oh man this blows. I was building up my rewards for that. I'm at ~76k right now.

I do see a two night stay in a Mandalay Bay suite for 100,000 points. Has that always been there?

We did Mandalay Bay suite and it was very nice. Just make sure to ask for non-smoking if you don't smoke.

Mandalay bay has been there as long as I have been playing. If the mirage suites don't come back , this is what I will be saving for.

If the mirage suites do come back, I'm sure it is going to be at a higher point scale. Closer to 150k based on rack rate.

I am sitting in my mirage tower suite as I read this and am shaking my head. I feel so lucky and blessed that I found out about this game when I did (mid December), already had a trip planned, and was able to get enough points (and be awake at 2am CST back when rewards were getting updated at midnight Vegas time) to stay here last night. It does not surprise me at all that they made this change and if the reward does come back i bet it will be priced much higher. I was looking forward to sharing my experience here with the board but I'm going to wait - no sense rubbing salt in the wound after this announcement.

My suggestion to MyVegas - please warn people of changes with some type of notice at least a few days in advance so that we're not constantly caught off guard.

I was really hoping to get a Mirage suite next time I am able to find time to get away. I had been tempted to redeem one since you have 90 days to use it and you can return it if you don't. Maybe I should do that with the Mandalay Suite. Mandalay Suite deal is probably better for me anyway since the Mirage deal was only Sun-Thurs. I have almost 250,000 LP. Has anyone done the Hotel 32 deal. I trouble justifying 2 1/2 times more LP for it than Mandalay for a smaller room, but I do like Monte Carlo's location and casino. The extras you get with Hotel32 may make it worth it (airport limo, lounge, breakfast, snacks)

Oooh good! I wanted that. I have enough for the Mandalay one, but I'd rather have that, since I've never stayed at Mirage.

I'm scared that this is a trend that we are going to see continue. They basically adjusted the LPs to match the rack rate instead of giving the discounted rate. I won't be surprised to see the same thing happen with the "unlocked" mirage deluxe and luxor suites.

people were upset about the Mirage Suite being constantly sold out. Now its back, and at a higher price, which will, in theory, keep it from being sold out so quickly.

it's fairly basic supply and demand.

But is it worth it for one night? I would take two nights in a deluxe room for 75k over this.
If there was a 2 night option for 200k I would consider it. But as it is, you need to pay for the second night at rack rate, or move hotels after one night.

Are the suites really that much nicer to pay the extra money, or the inconvenience of switching rooms?

What is the lp difference? I waiting for 13,000 Monte Carlo room to come back. I believe that was gone all month.
