    The lights go......and it's a little dark....
The whole event comes to a "sit still" .
NFL has to re-imburse any lost commercial time.
You know they hate that !
    PLAY BALL !!!!!!:grrr:
    .
What the hell do they think they're gonna
do with an outside game - and February weather in New Jersey ?
They wanna play in a blizzard.
They wanna play in zero temps + ice....frostbite.
    They wanna game "to remember".
    .
You're inside ?....and it's a little dark ?.....show stops.?
    PLAY BALL !!!!!!
    PLAY BALL !!!!!:grrr:

    BTW,
I played a college playoff game in an old AAA
baseball stadium.( Pawtucket ( Red Sox) Stadium in the 70's )
The huge bank of lights around the top
of the doubled tiered stands ( behind home plate )
    were never turned on.
We played with only the outfield pole lights on --
which left every player creating a criss - crossed shadow
    on the outfield grass.
    It was really strange.....
    .
Not as strange as trying to shower under the stands after the game.
Broken windows - November wind blowing down the tunnel
    into the locker room.
Mud caked shower floors w/ just FREEZING COLD water
dripping one drop at a time outta the shower head.
    .
    Hey,
There's your "game to remember" !:evillaugh
    .
Sorry.....it was deja vu all over again !

Actually, the lighting wasn't the biggest issue holding up the game. There is a bunch of electronic equipment on the sidelines that the coaching staffs use for real time game analysis. The equipment was working on one side but not the other. That would have created a strategic disadvantage. As soon as they had that equipment back up on both sides, the game resumed even though the lighting was not yet fully restored.

I watched the game with the sound down.
(my 13 mos old was sleeping:kiss:)
So, I thought it was only lighting.
    .
NFL used to have the rule :
    If one team's sound/electronics,etc.
    stopped working --
    the game continued....but....both teams would
not be allowed to use the equipment until fixed.
    .
I guess that rule has changed ?.....for the better ?:nono:

It's still all Beyonce's fault with her need for psychadelic video screens! I thought her legs were enough for the show.

It means s*#t happens, especially in this country where our infrastructures deteriorating rapidly. Sure seemed to stem the tide of a Ravens blowout, which was good for ratings and those of us watchin' the game.
