Has anyone received comps from this location? Can I get comps based on my play at other properties if I wanted to get a free room there?

I've been there 2 or 3 times while in port from a cruise, so just a few hours each time. It has been at least a year, maybe two since I have been there. I received an offer in November for 2 nights and $300 airfare credit. I was surprised as I had not received anything from them since I signed up in 2009. Maybe they are hurting and are willing to negotiate.

I was just down at atlantis on a comp in early january. 3 nights free. They have a deal on their website for 3 free nights if you have a qualifying premium players card. Check the website.

What type of room do you get? How much did it cost for food and tips? Do you play big?

we had a room in the royal towers. Food is expensive, and everything on property has an auto tip of 15% put on it. I'm a diamond with harrahs and ran about $15,000 through while we were there for 3 days. When i returned home we had new offers already emailed to us.

Supersurfdog- Did you upgrade to the Royal towers? I was offered cove when I called for the 3 free nights. I have them booked. Also what is the craps game there like do you know? What type of slots do they have.

yes, a host there can call his contacts to verify your play elsewhere. Be aware the comps needed for stuff there is more than stateside.

yeah I called a host there a while back to ask about comps. he said based on opening a mid-5 figure line, he'd give me 3 nights upfront in a regular room and that's it. I said no thanks. they wanted like $500 avg bet 4 hours a day just for a regular room.

That's dumb considering they give you that just for showing a players card as low as Gold on MLife or Platinum on CET anyway. A deal I do hope to take advantage of sometime soon...

he said all too many people have come down on a RFB+air upfront comp because they opened a big line and gotten lost on the beach and never played a dime. I'm sure that's true, too as it's a beautiful place and a lot of stuff to do besides gambling. plus at that point they didn't even offer Bacc, so it wasn't worth it to me. but now they do, so it could be a nice vacation spot. but airfare is expensive to get down there if they don't comp it.

No, i was offered the royal towers. The cove is nicer though but definitely farther from the casino. i never played craps there so i can't help you with that. as for slots, They had a good variety from .01 to 5.00. most of the them were .02 or .05 though. They were really tight as well.

Their upfront comps can be fairly generous sometimes, however between automatic 20% gratuity on everything / assorted fees / and overpriced everything you can still end up with hefty bill at checkout.

I've had trips on full RFB, where somehow I'd end up with $2k on the bill at the end lol.

Not to mention between poor ratings on craps / and high play expectations, it's tough to get much done at checkout.

I've had some really fun trips to Atlantis and the travel time beats out Vegas for me. But all-in-all I'd still take a couple extra hours to hit up Vegas and deal with professionals.
