Came ripping thru the south and east yesterday .Had high winds 50-60 mph and heavy rain here last night, but no tornadoes like in some places.Saw first hand what mother nature can do here ,it's no joke.

We watched radar as a the strong band of storms came across the state - our power was flickering as we went to bed - but it petered out (at least somewhat) before it got to us, because we got less than a half inch of rain, had no more power outages, and the wind gusts weren't too bad. My anemometer isn't working properly (it's blocked by trees at this point so we need to move it) but I'm judging based on the lack of sizable tree limbs I saw down this morning. That's a pretty good gauge of severity in the country:peace:
